Okay, I'll contact George Lucas and let you know the results of the conversation later. I just advised you to correct the symmetry and move the cockpit to the center of the ship.
Personally, I would not imitate George Lucas.

@Dima I'm not sure what you are asking me because your questions are not clear. Are you asking why the cockpit is off to the side? Because I designed it to be like how they are in Star Wars. That particular model of freighter usually has the cockpit offset to the right. I apologize for it having an unpleasing aesthetic to you, but if you have any complaints, you should call up George Lucas. Let him know you are unsatisfied with his design choice...

Why did the cabin do it from the side, it does not look symmetrical. Or was there not enough fantasy to do in the middle?

Interstellar rift is great however there is a game on steam called "starship evo" which is less mature in development however it has "blocks that can stretch". I believe a creator like your self would be able to create a more accurate model of the YT1300. If you get/have this game and make a model please let me know here via a link.

@shakeelqt Thanks! I sat down with some "blueprints" to try creating a faithful representation in IsR while being functional and a bit modular. The aim was to get something that could be used early on in the game without having to grind. Hope you have fun with it! Lemme know if you want to team up for some exploration. :cozyspaceengineersc:

I had the turrets like that at one time (as auto-turrets controlled by the cockpit), but since I added the laser for the pilot, I decided to make the turrets as mountable. I'm okay if people want to download and modify the ship for themselves, but this is the only variant I would like to keep on the workshop.

Again, I'm cool with people modifying the ship for their own needs. If you use it in a video or something, just make sure to give credit for the basic layout.

Can you please switch the turrets for the energy based auto turrets please? Or make a varient of the same ship with auto turrets?
