The mandalorians flag?

The flags don't seem to show up as selectable anymore. Still the names are a nice touch.

Brodie, Brodie, Brodie. We have the EXACT same goals as modders. I'm trying to get a mod-specific channel on the XCOM 2 Discord server so we can work on a total conversion. I'm working on a total music conversion (part of it is already released) and on a total text conversion (the story happens between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back) and I have been talking to another modder who is working on new (and better) RPGO specializations based on SW classes across multiple games. We plan to do a total conversion as well, with new shells, parcels, pcps, enemies, factions etc. Wanna team up?

Even I’m planning to set the appareance of the soldier to generate aliens using the alien heads pack but I’m not sure if this can be done as this heads are “helmets” and no actual races, by the way this will be done in a separate mod. Would be great to know your feedback on these thoughts.

It’s on the roadmap, I would like to add some consistency to it. By now I have borrowed some flags from the Platinum Sip’s Mod but I would like to update the mod with new and more quality flags matching the colors the game seems to display better. On top of that I’m thinking of this mod as a part of a XCom conversion to Star Wars galactic civil war playing in the rebel side so I think the countries could represent the origin of the characters before joining the rebellion, Maybe the soldier was born in the Rebel Alliance, is an imperial deserter, an outlaw, a bounty hunter, a smuggler working for the rebellion... I should work in the graphical assets to get this idea done as the flags now in the mod are not good enough.

Could you change the countries' names as well? It's weird seeing Australia and then it's the Rebel Alliance.

Cool idea: I may need to set up a mod profile on the alternative launcher for 'Star Wars Mode', and this looks like a good piece for that!

@MrShadowCX thanks for your inspiring words, this is my first mod ever and my first time coding something in years. It’s a pretty simple one but I have lots of ideas for more as soon as I learn how to code them!

@Deviathan Whale There is a way, using the flag pack mod I referred in the credits and deactivating the flag section of my mod. Unfortunately I don’t know how to integrate that option in the GUI yet so you should delete all the content in the file “XComGameBoard.ini”

@Brodie Is there a way to have the new flags without changing the vanilla flags? I use a mix of star wars characters and other characters.

Are they based on the BOT names from Battlefront (2003)-(2005)?
