So, I'm an avid player of this game, and I'm also a big fan of marine biology. I think the ocean is fascinating, and I want to help teach people a bit about it. I'm making a series of factoids on some of the modded creature in here, and I'm hoping to post a series of these on the megaquarium discord channel.
Comet: Also known as, Marine Bettas
Like the freshwater bettas that this fish draws it's name from, it's very agressive and territorial among it's own species. However, this cousin of the grouper is also very shy around other fish. It usually hides head first in coral reef crevesses, only coming out at night to feed. It's strange body structure and colouration, with a large spot on it's tail, is meant as a distraction, as a false head, to encourage predators to attack it's tail instead of head, giving it time to react, or simply protect it's head.
