The fact that further production of the MAS 38 SMG during German occupation of France and even after WW2 is unknown but probably thousands more.

Probably one of the reasons it was so popular amongst partisans was the fact that you didn't need any real training on how to hold it,or even operate it worked basically like a pistol

Wow, that's actually really cool. I don't know many guns that can be held in almost any way you please, let alone assault rifles. I was just caught off guard by how close the mag was to the trigger and the lack of a grip of any kind

it's very small,but it doesn't really have moving parts on the way so irl you can pretty much hold it in any way you want;some people hold it like a pistols,others like i animated this one,and i found one guy that just put his hand on the whole lefft side of the gun

Fun fact,the 7,65mm longe bullet this weapon use was a modified version of the Pedersen's device special ammo

I am actually really happy you made this. My great grandfather was gifted one of these by the Free French after WWII. Granted we re-chambered it in 9x19mm but either than that its in it's original state. So thx for adding it.

actually the Germans didn't differentiate the FG42s,they just called all variants FG42,so we can't make a type 2 :(
