Very very nice, so muzzle velocity in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIG_SG_550 not included which weight of bullet testing on that velocity, but it nice idea good work :D

I just took the muzzle velocity of the gun and the mass/size of the bullet from the round it shoots, used this website: http://www.shooterscalculator.com/bullet-kinetic-energy.php to calculate it, and divided by 30 for the damage.

So, Muzzle energy J divine 30 at start right?, or you can know velocity of bullet fire from 9 inch of barrel then calculate to muzzle energy and divine 30 to game damage?

If it had a longer barrel it would do more damage because it would have a higher velocity.

The barrel is short on the rifle, which makes the muzzle velocity lower meaning the bullet travels slower, in the end the bullet doesn't have as much force on impact as compared to if it was shot from a longer barrel, making it do less damage.
