Hi! I have the mod and the resource patch downloaded and installed but it doesnt seem to work or show up (i cant find any tech for trubolasers and there seems to only be vanilla components and resources)? I am also using Starnet, Starnet mixed fleets, planetary diversity, and the star wars shipset mod

you can create a patch mod, this would be you put in only files you override to enable/disable functionality.

To override the vanilla weapons being disabled you could put in a copy of the vanilla weapon tech files from the game installation.
To actually override the mod you just have to make sure that the patch mod is below this mod in the load order, you should be able to ensure this for users by ordering the dependencies in the .mod files.

I can't give you permission to upload the full version as Elratie is the original creator of the star wars weapons mod, but a patch mod will work

Alright, it took me a few hours, but I finally figured out how to not only stop the ai from getting the technology but also make it player exclusive! So, since you don't want to make the option to make it player exclusive, I decided to do it myself. All I had to do was to get rid of the two files that's restricting the vanilla weapons, removed the starting tech code from the starting tech and zeroized all of their weight modifiers. Then, I just added the starting techs to the turbo colors event and that's it! Now, if you'd be so kind to give me permission to upload the edited version of your mod to steam, that would be great.

I can't update the original mod only the sting can, yes I am listed as a developer for it but the steam workshop only allows the original uploader to publish to the branch.
And no I won't add that feature as I don't want it

If you mean vanilla weapons, it should be theoretically possible. There is a one time edict which drops the tech used to disable them into the society tech pool. This enables it for every country and cannot be reversed.
Whether you get the tech is down to the dumb way stellaris does research after that.

Are there any specific requirements for a Planetary Tibanna Mine building to work? Seems like my pops really don't want to work in one I plunked down onto my homeworld, for whatever reason. (They move to be unemployed rather than work at the mines)
