@one tap the main mod (FPS Booster) includes what was added in Mini. It sounds more like FPS Booster doesn't work at all for you. Not sure what issues with simulation you have but if nothing happens when you start it and/or cannot click on things after loading the savegame, are 2 problems caused by Node controller, not fps booster or mini version.
Solution is usually simple: you have to wait, because the game is still processing things requested by Node controller mod on load(usually it takes few seconds but can take few minutes).

I found out that this mini version has a broader effect on the unity engine, and optimizes only what the user sees, this greatly reduces the load on the engine, thereby building and dragging are fast. My question was why are these two different mods? I found out that this mini version can cause problems with the simulation. So I will try it and tell you a little later if it helps.

@one tap What is "TD", what "disabliong object processing" means and what you mean by "the main mod"?

Why are features like stopping the simulation, disabling object processing, and TD not in the main mod? I switched to a newer PC and my unity just can't handle the load. So I'll remove fps Booster and I'll try this version.

I still use this mod because i play on GFN. saddly can't reopen the game without lossing the session.

After the update my FPS went crazy - I'll unsubcribe and subscribe again from this and other mods to see how it goes!

@DeluxeHITMAN6301 doesn't need an update, there was no change in the game code where the mod applies changes. Mentioned FPS Booster is the continuation, if you use that, then you don't need this mod because it's already included there.

Does this mod also forces gpu to run at full speeds, as FPS BOOSTER mod?
I sent my old 780ti to the garbage because it fried with the other mod turned on :)

@Woke Bush this mod is built-in into the FPS Booster. It won't break anything but also won't make any difference since the full version includes this one.

The mini was realeased before the full, don't use both. Suggested you use the full one.

@Lowkey Loki if this works better than FPS Booster then you didn't really see how FPS Booster work. If you are on Linux od MacOS there are additional steps to make it work

for me, this mod works better than the newer "FPS Booster". Not sure why but im not complaining

hmm I assume you didn't read description of the FPS Booster.

The main difference is... the fps difference when you use either this or FPS Booster. The mini version(this mod) was released first and already build-in into FPS Booster and alone serves <20% of the boost you can get with FPS Booster .

This workshop item is available only for the users which cannot use FPS Booster , sadly. I've got few reports that does not work with the latest MacOs version :/

If you are on Windows or Linux subscribe to FPS Booster and its dependency(link above). I don't see any reason to use this version when FPS Booster already includes it and provides a much higher fps increase.

I'm running C:S on an M1 MacBook Pro with all the available DLC and over 100 mods and asset packs, reduced shadows and lower quality visuals (~800 assets according to loading screen mod)

BUTTERY SMOOTH GRAPHICS - this is amazing!! Huge props to the dev! I plan on experimenting with the full FPS booster mod to see what this machine is really capable of.

this is just amazing i went from 38 to 57 at the most taxing parts of my city
