It's still working btw ... at least for me.
There aren't any tutorials out there on how to make critters, and I need something for reference
I won't just copy your entire mod and re-skin it, I just need some of its code for a base and then refactor and change a few things.
if no, that's okay! its your code and your mod! if yes, I'll link your mod in the game description for when the mod comes out.
thank you!
"shopkit=商店工具包"
I suspect this translation is wrong.
"Shopkit" is a reference to the character Shopcat (who is a cat who sells things) in Invisible Inc., another game by Klei. I picked the name Shopkit because a kit is a baby fox and the Kittycoon critter in the game is called Kittington in the code. (This has nothing to do with tool kits or anything like that, that's a different meaning of the word 'kit').
so F L O O F Y
Could you be more specific
The Critter tab is a normal part of the game, it's not a mod. In the Critter Cave (which spawns somewhere on the map, usually in or near a rock biome) you can craft a new Critter follower using specific ingredients, crafting them works the same as other crafting in the game. The game has multiple to choose from, for example a Glomglom, a Kitkit, a Vargling, etc. This mod just adds a custom one to the list.
It is a Critter, it does the same things normal Critters do
I haven't played Minecraft, but oh my gosh, you're right!
