Hi, great work! Can I config it to override all sounds including mod vehicles ?

I should also make it clear I've only noticed this with the old Wagon sound set, I've not progressed far enough to the modern wagon sounds.

So to expand on Diecicatorce's post, I have a similar issue where the FREIGHT wagon sound will make the steam loco's SLOW SPEED sound stutter in and out, but once the faster speed sound kicks in it works fine. This doesn't happen with the passenger sound set so I'm not sure what could be causing it. I have the mod set to load last in the mod order as well. Does anyone have an idea why only the freight sounds are an issue at slow speeds?

The mod stopped working after the new update, i don't know whats wrong with it. The sounds are there but they are not correct. The railbus sounds like an 4000hp diesel engine as well as all other diesels. the electric trains sounds identical as well. But its the modded sounds.

This should be the problem of the game itself. mod sometimes doesn't work. After pressing ESC, it starts to work again.

So the horn not playing for the steam locomotives are a known issue? Can you get around to fixing this any time soon?

This mod doesnt change anything regarding steam locomotives, neither their behavior or files
only thing occurring is perhaps the horn not playing due to many sounds at once
otherwise..nothing

Don't know itf it's your mod, or the locomotive mod causing this. But steam locomotives often make sounds as if they are slowing, or driving slowly, but are in fact in acceleration, or at top speed. But it is something that came to be after the spring patch.

It's a chuffing sound that comes out of order and is louder than the normal sound of the locomotive.
Anyone else notice this?

Ah, yes the vanilla whistle sound is too silent to be heard with your mod, eh i will still use your mod. Your mod makes the locomotives and wagons sound far more realistic!!!

you have to press like 10 times to hear it
i dont think i can do much about though, its the limitation of sounds of the game
maybe i can reduce some stuff

The new update seems to be not playing nice with the mod, the whistle doesn't seem to work when mod is active.

I think i will just have to remove the oomph one, I think i wont miss it. and it doesnt seem like a good one, 300 subs and making all my train screech.

With this mod and the one that adds more oomph + the 3 vanilla mods from urban games gives me the weird sound.

I use this mod and all of my train make a horrible screeching sound that isnt normal, I also have 2 more sound mods. Do you know if your mod has got anything to do with it?

I had some issues with Steam locomotives that uses vanilla sound. the sound stuttered and became mute after a certain speed. I put the mod last in the loading order above common api. It was then normal again.

Hmm all I can say is it wasn't an issue in 1.71 any way to get that version again?

haven't done anything to chuffs and steam locomotives in general

Steam "chuffs" cutting out / stumbling on american locomotives at various speeds between 12 mph and 30, only mod loaded. noticeable on american 4-4-0 and Baldwin 6 wheeler for instance with 12 cars.
