that thumbnail was actually this mod when in TPF original.

The thumbnail show darker tracks, but activating the mod makes the ballast very light like in the screenshots showing the bumping posts.

How to get the darker ballast and tracks?

@NS_37 Do you have any problems with me expanding this with speed limits and stuff and uploading it to the workshop? I'll if I can make a dependency work (doubtful) if not, I'll add you to the Created By list so it shows up on your workshop as well. (Seems only fair imho)

Does this replace the default tracks or simply give you more to choose from, similar to killakanz's bullhead track mod?

icons for track segments for station building is missing can you please fix this and any other minor annoyances you can find.

These textures seem to work best in a desert environment, and are a welcome change from the vanilla look, though a slightly weathered version would have also been nice

@Marsonix So, what do you think the 'Electric' part in diesel electric locomotive means? Also, the electric locomotives pulling my local six carriage regional trains are quite a bit more powerful than almost all EMD and GE locomotives currently in use.

@BaoBaB The US has the most advanced freight networks in the world. Highly regarded as the best. Just because Europe electrified their tracks doesn't mean it's the "most sophisticated." The NE Corridor is electrified because it sees the most passenger train traffic. It doesn't make sense to electrify freight lines in the US, since electric locomotives can't pull the long freight trains like the EMD/GE diesels can.

Baobab America doesn't really use Rail for Passenger transportation now but rather mainly goods traffic and mineral traffic (Think LONG coal drags in china) and so doesent need the same level of inovation as Asia &/or Europe

I do not understand your - question (at least I think it was). It simply changes the tracks to a different color and adds US style track bumpers, just as described. The remainder of your post seems pretty irrelevant.

I don't understand this mod . What does it do. Beside no kidding Europe and Asia are way ahead of the US in train technology. They have some of the most sophisticated technology in this area.

Why does your mod (still) have the little red box in the mod list state, "enabling this mod may result in unexpected effects" even when no track vanilla or otherwise is even laid?

After the update today the tracks went back to the default textures, I look at the files and it seems the texture changed from .tga to .dds

Kpen97™ so they did fix it from TF1 and upgrading with custom track works? Its custom maps thats causing the error?

its not your mod, the problem is using any custom map thats been uploaded to the workshop.

Wasn't the loss of being able to upgrade rail with cat or to change the rail type a problem in TF1 as well? It be nice if this got fixed by the devs because id download this in heartbeat if it function properly.

yeah i subbed to the austrian Catenary pack and it removed the upgrade Catenary button, and your mod did the same thing, unless my game is broken xD

I still have not released the TF1 version, but aside from that I know of no reason that any buttons would be removed.

This track mod is amazing, used it in TF1, but atm in TF2 having this mod enabled removes catenary upgrade button.

Does the mod include a high speed and regular track version? Or just one "regular" and then one "yard"?
