This mod is being REWORKED into a new mod called Vehicles that will include these boats as well as other vehicles covering land, air and see vehicles! It is currently in testing! be patient, it will be worth the wait

Ya'll can try that to get the vehicle mod. It allows you to disable the vehicles you don't want, so if you only want boats then you can disable everything else.

When the mod is fully released, there will be a public workshop page for it. While it would be nice to have a github link as well, but hiding it behind a discord-wall appears to be a pretty effective way to lessen the amount of "beta testers" that'll later complain of broken save games.

People just love to request updates but nobdy ever wants to read the comments. It's not getting updated. The author doesn't come to these comments anymore, so all the requests and begging are pointless. He won't see them. He won't update here. He's told you where to look, so go there and look. As has been discussed in the comments, it takes 5 minutes of searching to find the link to the updated beta version of the vehicles mod.
I have the discord link in my clipboard right now and I could hit "paste" but I won't, in solidarity.
You disliking discord must mean you really don't want the mod.

In fairness, people like me showing up to haze him for being such a jackass probably isn't helping. I apologize and will unsub from the thread.
you wouldn't happen to have a current link to the discord would you? the ones i have found in the comments all pull up a link expired error. Also a simple solution would be to get a permanent link to the discord and putting it in the discussions tab as a new discussion to save people time looking for the needle in the haystack and save you the effort of trying to force them to when instead could just be a simple "check the discussions tab".

You get mad because he didn't say that this mod was being redeveloped, only, the first thing in the description is that this mod is being redeveloped as a vehicle mod.
