@MCzenman yeah i figured that out after a while. But now I'm getting this weird problem where on the body with the pointy nose, sometime the left wheel arch deforms and changes the balance of the car and really screws with the high speed handling and I can't figure out what makes it deform.

Thank you so much for the advice! I'm actually quite proud of what I managed to create now! The only thing that's boggling my mind as of now is making a good livery... I've tried looking at tons of examples but for some reason I just can't get it to look good. I think it might mainly be because of my inexperience with liveries outside of racing games which had a built-in livery editor instead of having to use basic shapes and colors lol

I would suggest looking at real-life LMPs and taking note of any shared design traits (big headlights, for example). Then, build on those traits and tweak them to your liking.

Hey man, I love this body. However, I can't seem to get any of the grills, vents, or scoops to work, along with any of the lights. They just sit back behind the body in such a way that I can't see them, except for their outline. Otherwise, awesome.

According to my friends who have used this body, it works fine on the openbeta branch of the game. Until a fix is sorted out (which the author did state he was working on beneath this comment), if you wish to use this body, might I advise checking out the openbeta branch of automation?

Hey, I will always pay attention to the problem of this body. I specially designed a Le Mans engine for this body. If it is not a problem with the body layer, I think the effect will be amazing!
