I got this to work with the Armor and Skins DLC. In order to get it to play nice, you have to go to:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\763890\1925733578\assets\data\aspects

In there you will find a file name items.json
Just rename it to armor.json

Then remember to enable it in game. The mod automatically turned itself off for me in one of my saves, but you can just turn it back on in options -> this game -> pick mods.

This mod seems to no longer work after I downloaded the Armor and Skins DLC, so I effectively lost 45 armors in order to gain 32.

I still don't understand why the DLC doesn't have any tier 3 armors, it just feels like a cut corner.

Don't get the armor pack DLC if you plan on playing with this mod, not sure if it still works without the DLC but it sure as hell doesn't work with it.

So I am probably not going to be the only person to think or ask this, but are you still active? And with the Armour DLC (5th May 2023) are you going to be updating the armours for 3 tiers, or adding the elements to them too?

noted: If you have Expanded Items Spirit mod, you also have to delete these files from the mod. You should be able to find the mod at Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\763890\2321888303\assets\data\items\items

If you want to delete the Tier 1 armor that basically makes the characters look like they are not wear any pants: here are the files:

I would say make sure your characters are not wearing any tier 1 outfits before doing this. I have done this, and the basic humble ginnings are back at their vanilla version.

Never mind, it looks like the issue was that your expanded spirits mod had the same files and was overwriting the appearance changes.

Why can't I get rid of the armors from this mod? I just wanted to modify the armors to add pants back since all the armors are too naked for my liking, but it seems to have hard coded itself in.

I've recently installed these buy i'm just getting "technical.asset.etcetc" errors where text should be, with no stats therein. Am I missing something or has something been downloaded wrong? Should I be looking for a possible conflict?

I'ts the nex update, tier 3 armors will loot from chapter 3 with a reduced chance, they will be tier 2 armors but improved so they can loot. I'm figuring out how to make them show properly.

Ye I know sorry guys will be solved tomorrow. I'ts just a category issue and they will loot with a reduced chance. I don't know how the test get into the update apologies.

Having the same issue as @Cai Morgan, 3-star warrior armors have 2 stars.

A note to modify my earlier comment - this is only an issue with Warrior armor sets.

The most recent update seems to have caused an error where the High Quality armor sets show up in the gear upgrades UI as Tier 2, which is a bit of a usability problem. Just wanted to flag.

It is a vanilla issue same with offhands, i patched it, i guess in vanilla you don't ned to do upgrade armors and offhands.

Hi when I am in between chapters and I tried to select the armor to upgrade it will load for a while, and then the UI for selecting armors would pop up but then it will automatically be cleared (as if I didn't select anything). I cannot get this to work for all armors but I can still upgrade weapons

Sorry to answer you that late, i guess you already have solved the issues one way or another by now but anyway

@placeholder: Characters with armors from this mod will still have them but with no stats i guess. Recruiting a legacy hero or buying another armor should do the trick. If you mean they still show in the forge try to subscribe/unsubscribe again and disallow the mod in "options" menu in the main screen of the game.

I'm using the Spirit Armors mod as well, and I noticed that the expanded armors are all there. Is it safe to unsubscribe to this mod and keep only Spirit Armors or do we need both?

In Legacy it's not a problem, middle campaign yes of course items added by the mod wont have the skills maybe the stats remain (but i doubt it).

I used as much as i could the IDs from the game so many items will be replaced for the vanilla ones, but when you create new weapons for example thats not possible (for artifacts, they all revert to vanilla state).

Yes Shadow Form it's Expanded Themes (look at the pics in the mod). You can personalize the mod removing the Themes you dont want (explained in the description).

What happens when you turn off the mods while they wearing it, both during campaign and as legacy? Also I think one of my Legacy character, A mystic Shadow got a visual bug. It started to dual wield some sword I don't know of and have dragon wings.

Update:
-Some stat tweeks (nerf).
-New visuals for some mystic armors.

Its to make armors more varied visually, i have to work with limited images not drawed for that in mind.

jeje, it's crit chance. The description is outdated, real bonus are lower than that, and i'm thinking reduce them i little bit more. I will update the description.

Yes its vanilla behavior. When you recruit a legacy character all their items are downgraded to tier 1, if you recruit a legacy character after chapter 1 they will get better items but always downgraded.

Is it normal, that every legacy character (that was made before installing this mod) will have their armor downgraded to a basic T1, regardless of what they had before? I'd love to have armor variety, but also don't want dozens of characters to get weakened from this :/

You can update the mod and load the game before crash.

Steam and his downloading issues are legendary, i guess they need the money for other things X)

Do it with Expanded Augments as well if you use it.

Steam sometimes doesn't update the mods correctly. You need to unsubscribe an subscribe again from Expanded Helms.
