Ambient Occlusion bug in the rickety ol engine causes the darkness. Balancing is on users end unfortunately.

Even with maximum brightness, it's dark here, even in lighted places, and there is a bug that periodically the entire screen turns white for a second.

if you are having problem with addons in versus you should go to cfg folder and click addonconfig open it and you should see the list says '1' means you can't use set them 1 to 0. save it and close and have test on versus or scavenge or mutations

You have done an absolutely brilliant job. I've been using the vibrant color correction pack from you, but when playing beside my husband (he has the apocalypse version) I can't help but love how creepy yet still beautiful this makes the maps look. I'm switching.

Anyone looking for still colorful maps but with an ominous vibe, this pack is definitely it. The skys are beautiful too.

not a fan. because in every map it is either bright orange or blue. I need a shader mod that is a little more advanced then orange or blue lol

@V3NT in another workshop article's description the guy said he didn't make color corrections for crash course and cold stream simply because they can't modify those

Valve disabled addons in versus because people kept using these cheat addons which you could see things through walls, infected etc.. thats why you dont see the color correction

Hey so I remember i used to be able to use mods in Vs but now it doesnt seem to load or be transfered into Vs and it just goes back to vanilla style. How would I fix this?

I just don't like that this "COLOR CORRECTION" addon changes the map loading posters.
You could at least have included the custom map loading screen pictures in a separate addon and not have forced them, is the point I'm trying to get across here.
