Is it working with 2025.1 patch? I am getting errors when activating mod.

My Game is set to the 2022.1 version. When the 2024.1 was released many mods updated automatic to the new version. Since then your radio mod doesn`t work anymore. A new game with just your mod activated doesn`t work.
Is it possible to upload the old 2022.1 version and give us the dl-link? The people who play still the 2022.1 version can install the mod manually in the "AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBOAT\Mods" folder.

No need for update. It works. Just make sure its enabled when starting a new game. It will not work with old saves.

Didn't this mod used to have radio speech broadcasts? Are they gone now? It seems I never hear them anymore. No idea what they were saying, but was immersive!

anyone got it running on a save that is already created?

@rascal When subscribed all you need to do is to activate the MOD at the beginning of the Game...You start the Game and you can switch between News and MOD... Just activate and finish.... Hope it works... The Station is Wilhelmshafen.... Good Luck... I tried it with my save games but it doesn´t work...

Hi to you - hope I'm not asking a boring question - I have the new release game clean install no mods I have subscribed to Grossdeutcher Rundfunk but cant work out how to activate the mod or play the new stations

@OlliPlästerbirne Mod works fine. The problem is on your side. Besides, the radio station is Wilhelmshaven.

Yep. Not working again. I gave it a fresh install, means I blew my old cache into Nirvana. It's not working agin plus the outdated message appear. But i remember your mod worked fine on La Rochelle radio station, only. And as we all have to start in german ports now your mod might slip onto the wrong path now.

It is now updated but for some reason it will still show as "outdated" in the mod list. Ignore this!
There are still some small issues with the mod tools. Waiting for the devs to fix this.

Einfach mal durchklicken, in irgendeinem Ordner wird es dann schon sein.

Dieser Mod ist fantastisch! Ich ging und fand heraus, woher die Originale in diesem Mod kamen, und kopierte die Dateien. Ich habe dann YouTube verwendet, um deutsche Tanzmusik aus den 40ern herunterzuladen, habe .oog-Dateien erstellt und sie in den Dateiordner gelegt, den die DEVS für benutzerdefinierte Musik, Axis-Stationen, erstellt haben. Mit historischen Fahnen, Orden und Musik fällt es leicht, ins Spiel einzutauchen! Torpedo los!

This mod is fantastic! I went and found where the originals came from in this mod and copied the files. I then used YouTube to download German dance music from the 40s, made .oog files and put them in the file folder that the DEVS created for custom music, Axis stations. What with historical flags, medals and music, it is easy to immerse oneself into the game! Torpedo los!

I always thought the German speaking players are so lucky to be able to hear these historical broadcasts play in chronological order as their campaign progresses.

If you're not fluent in German and want to translate the broadcasts.. i found a tool. Its imperfect but it has some potential.

@Stonewall, to @kodijacks request. You can actually make the broadcasts time dependent if you tie the audio to a radio station and add the proper radio station data for the music. As was done in Expanded Radio Audio Addon - see the datasheets for info or hit me up on discord if you want an explanation on how to do this.
