Hello, I use the "Z" key to move my character forward.... and when I press this key I can't move the recipe window...how can I change this key? if it's in the .sav file with which software can I open it?

@Noy S.L. Hey man, uhm good question. I never took into account that could happen.

To be honest I'm not entirely sure where it's saved, I'm just using the engine's save system.
But from what I can see, it should be saved inside "\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\CESMSaves”. Just a guess. I'll do some more research if you didn't find it in there (I would've checked but I uninstalled Conan Exiles after I made the mod update).

Heya. How to unbind keys or find binds/mod settings? I have binded Toggle and Edit Mode to num4/num5 and now it doesn't work. Reinstall doesn't help.

Sooo yeah, I did more than just add a background, and fix the errors.

Changelog:
- Added tracker background (opacity is adjustable, so you can disable it by making it fully transparent).
- The tracked recipes now gets saved.
- The tracker position is now saved.
- The recipe ingredient name gets darkened when the required amount is not met for that ingredient.
- Now the ingredient icon will also show next to the name.
- Added background opacity option to the settings menu.

Apparently it was 2 very tiny things that caused the errors on the mod. I just had to change 2 things and now it's working again. I will upload the fix as soon as I have added the background option :-) I will post a new comment when published.

I really appreciate You trying to accommodate for my needs and putting extra work in, I feel humbled and grateful:) I am still very much interested, I was not active lately because of surgery and all the shabang around it so I did not reply for quite a while. I now have my eyes back and working though still using High Contrast Theme on everything I can:) will soon check out the mod again:) Cant wait! All the best to You! I wish actual development studios had people like you making design decisions, I could enjoy more games that way.

Sadly the tracker is not working anymore since the last update. It only shows a "0"
I am really lost without it :(

@SnowCrash1982 - Please wear sunglasses! It prevents cataracts from forming or getting worse! If you can bear it, I imaging it will be harder to see, but well worth the protection if you're not driving! Especially after your operation... Good luck, and take care! :happydodo:

@Jason Love Thank you, whenever you have time and patience to do anything is fine with me:) I do know the devkit is pretty substantial a download as I have downloaded and messed around with it myself a while ago when I could see the text on screen with no issues. I really appreciate your response, its been a bit weird not being able to do so many things the way I used to before so having hope that I can at least entertain myself with this game without getting mad at myself is a big deal for me:) Still, please feel no pressure, the mod is yours and the time you spend on it is yours as well. Its perfectly OK to want to spend that time on something more important to you:)

@SnowCrash1982 Hi :-) Sorry for the late reply. I would love to help but it's just so much work to download so many gb of data (the dev toolkit is quite sized, as well as the game), and then figure out how every thing works again, it's been a while :-)

But I promise you that I will definitely implement such feature the next time I install Conan Exiles, assuming it won't be too late as you might not play that time, but then it's there the next time you need it :-)

I might do it in the coming weeks when I get some time though, as I just want you to enjoy the mod without having a hard time to actually read the text. I wish I added a background to it when I did the mod, because there were some places that it's hard to read, especially in the desert.

Apologies in advance, this is not an attempt at critique, I do love the mod. Recently I gave experience some health issues with my eyes and as a result my vision is now reduced when it comes to contrast. Simply put I can see white text on light backgrounds only with extreme difficulty (have cataracts that will need surgery to remove... soon). Ypur mod just stopped being visible for me. Would it be possible to have an option of a black background (opaque or not) as a toggle for guys like me? Sorry I do not mean to whine, I am still trying to adjust as this whole vision thing is new to me. Been only two weeks that I cant see normally anymore. Anyways, if not possible, I understand perfectly and will still attempt to use the mod while I can. Keep up the good work and please do not think I am trying to pull a disability card on you. I still understand that you do not owe me anything and you are not obligated to do anything about my request:)

Is it possible to add an option to tick off certain parts of a recipe? An 'issue' I've always had (even though I love the mod) is that some stuff needs a ton of heavy materials that I can't always carry with me, so I sometimes lose track of those things.

1st, yes I was thinking of handkrafted, not workbenches. It would work if the Pinned Recipes was sorted to the top of the list. It's a pain in the neck to find the right sandstone piece that I was planning to craft... (wild idea; new thrall, "message runner". You order thrall to go to given workstation to relay the work order to the thrall there, bringing the resources as well. Only if specialist thrall are in place at workstation.)

@ChrisMartin First one would work for handcrafted items, could be hard to implement to work with benches, but with search option in inventory and benches I don't feel like it is much needed function. About second thing: you already can see how much items you can build, it shows amount of craftable items next to the name of that item.

This is so good! Running around between storage and/or bases etc, without needing to know what I need to collect. Nice!
What would be fantastic is when all items in recipe are collected, you could click on the object in the list to build it.
Second thing; Could we have a multiplier option? See the cost for a single object, and total needs for number of same object.
"Lets build a wall, and I guess I need 90 foundation in Sandstone. How much wood and stone is that?"

Oh, I found right button! It is Y key, but it also opens friends list window... You need to press Y, close window by clicking "x" and you can edit it!

It seems it is not possible to access Edit Mode by pressing Z, I tested it with only this mod instaled and it is still not working... Is there any other way, or do I press wrong key?

I recently started playing a bit of conan exiles again, but not sure when I'll be downloading the devkit again. I want to update the recipe tracker, no idea when though :-)

Eine sehr gute kleine Mod die wirklich hilfreich ist, jedoch was ich mir noch als Verbesserung vorstellen könnte wäre, das sich der Tracker die Position merkt an die man ihn setzt und er sich nicht nach jedem Warp etc.. wieder verstellt. Wäre das machbar? :steamhappy:

Maybe, I don't have the desire to play it currently, so it's a lot of gb to download just to update a mod :-) Hopefully the developers of Conan Exiles will implement a recipe tracker at some point. I still can't believe they haven't done it yet, as it is a very useful feature. But yeah, I might update it some time, but I don't think it'll be any time soon :-)

@NinjaPewPew Ah yes, that's a great suggestion. I won't be implementing it anytime soon, because I'm not playing Conan Exiles anymore. But when I start playing it again at some point, I will of course implement missing features. Hopefully at that time though, the game's developers has made an recipe tracker already :-)

I would love tracked items to be untracked as soon as crafted them once. Right now I need to clear out my list manually.

@wovik253 Yeah, I wanted to save the position. I did plan to do it in a new update, but I recently reinstalled my computer because it was acting up.
So I would have to download both, Conan Exiles and the dev kit (which is close to 200gb :-p).
I don't want to download all that just for 1 tiny update, hope you understand :-)

But I'm glad you like the mod :-)

Very useful mod. Only one thing I don’t like - if I moved the panel, then the next time I enter the game, it does not maintain its position and every time I have to move it again.

Updated the mod. @Puppy The new version should now take the multiplier into consideration now :-) I tested it, so it should work fine :-)

@ian.silver67 Thanks :-) I think the reason the Track button doesn't get added to the crafting UI, is because the IQoL mod has its own copy of the crafting UI, and then made changes to it.
My mod only looks for the original UI.
So if a mod made changes to the original crafting UI, then it would most likely have worked, unless they removed the UI elements that my mod looks for.

However, the IQoL mod does have its own recipe tracker. Looks fancier too :-D

Yeah it is really odd that Funcom haven't added some sort of recipe tracker. It is pretty much one of the most helpful things for a game like this.

Just a heads-up for anybody using this mod and the 'Improved Quality of Life' mod - both obviously modify the UI and this seems to cause a conflict. I found that this mod's 'Track' button on the inventory screen didn't appear when IQoL was also active.
This is a great mod nevertheless - but why the hell has a community member got to add basic functionality to the UI so long after 'full release' Funcom? Anyway, GREAT work Jason.

I haven't been able to check it out yet. But I will be able to in the upcoming week, so I will be releasing a new update in the upcoming week. Hopefully it's nothing hard to fix, but I'm confident that it's just a simple fix that is required :-)

Hey! I've found your mod very useful. With further use i discovered that it shows wrong amoung of materials needed to craft something when you have set different multiplier in server configuration.
