You just subscribe to the item, open the game, then go inside any level. Or else, go into Multiverse (the galaxy looking thingy), and create a server (bottom left button)
Then, hit the load button at the top of the screen, then the Steam icon button that says "steam workshop" You can then double-click on any subscription to load them in.

i did the usual uninstall-delete mod files-reinstall thing and it works now, sorry lol

Yeah, they work, just checked. Q to shoot em, FIAO mod must be installed and active

Uh, you need the fiao combined mod to be active for the lasers to work. I'll double check to see if it works but it should.
