It is no longer nescesary, at least so it says
So now we need a patch again.
Exception ticking Ship_LifeSupport1205432 (at (80, 0, 136)): System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'DubsBadHygiene.CompWaterStorage' from assembly 'BadHygiene, Version=2.5.7217.23609, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

Verse.Root_Play:Update()
I've checked the loading order and it seems to be in order
I also discovered that if I built a new part of the ship in space and removed the shiphull connecting it I wasn't able to build floor on that spot. It said it didn't have any ship-part connected to it. So now I got a hole in my ship at the doors into the new part.
@zombienerd Had a similar issue. Either install a thermometer, or set the boiler to ignore the thermo. The same thing happened on my surface base, so this may be a Dub's issue.
My ship is cold. I don't want to jam electric heaters everywhere. Ideas?
your plumbing room will need a bit more space but when it get patched im hoping i can just swap it back over to the life support
First, thanks for the SOS2 mod and this patch!
Second, I can confirm the patch seems to be out of date/out of sync with Bad Hygiene. Thanks for coming up with a workaround, bonesbro. I'm intimidated by even simple file editing and manipulation, so I'm not going to try it myself, but it's folks like you and all the modders who make the Rimworld community awesome.
Third, I too am confused about water/life support. I can fill up the life support unit with water by hooking the ship up directly to a planetside water pumping set-up, while the ship is still under construction. But once the ship is in orbit, the water slowly drains with every flush. Now, that makes logical sense irl, since a 100% efficient water reclamation system is fantasy. But, well... so is interstellar travel. Basically: is this working as intended, or am I missing a step?
Thanks again.
Well, thank you anyway.
