Nevermind...apparently this isn't the thing that disables deformation in my world. At this point I'm just incredibly confused..

For anyone having issues with blocks deforming into pistons and rotors, and causing them to spaz the hell out rendering you useless in a fight because you turn into a fidget spinner, this mod also fixes that.
It seems that it pretty much turns block deformations off completely which is exactly what I wanted.

what's with those weirdly overblown screenshots?

Confirmed it still works

If this works, I owe you one.

Lol clearly I'm an attentive dev

Name is a lie, I updated it a while ago to work with large grids as well

This mod seems to be the only one that actually works *properly*. It doesn't make missiles useless by reducing armor deformation ratio (since missiles do most of their damage via deformation), although missiles are still weakened. *But it does stop non-armor popping, which is the central issue.*
I know nothing about modding, is there any way we can get a version that works for large grids?

Ah, thank you. That's quite helpful actually. Its saved my small ships many times from losing hydrogen tanks while flying past pirates. I'm just saying, it would've been more helpful with a little bit of documentation, or some kind of description saying that's what it does. Again, thanks for answering my question.

it edits the deformation ratio of small grid non-armor blocks such that you never have internals instantly breaking when armor protecting it gets slightly deformed (only does this for small grid stuff rn, but its real easy to edit the script)

What actually *is* this?
