It doesn't work with sketchy cheats. I like to have my way with these kind of games and, also have a chill game. There are some incompatible things amongst the superbuffed traits I can assign to my caracter, and the problem is that the mod doesn't give me the chance to assign them to my main or other characters

This mod is not working. Every DLC installed, clean install folder. Only subscribed to compatible mods.

The game went into Game Over points and accomplishments screen as soon as I was given the Duke title as countyless/baronyless Marshal Commander without having any land. Intended? It did not crash, it just went game over as soon as I was awarded the Duke title as a landless.

do you really need all the dlc (only got republic and swords of islam)

@atreus Please also do not forget to remove the unecesary traits duplication and a few other broken and very uncompatible things please. I look forward to subscibe to your update of this mod whenever you have your page done for it. I tried to myself fix the mod for a while now but while i mostly got successful by removing a lot of unecesary files and bits to make the mod relatively work better with a focus on its core mechanics i still lack the modding experience to truly do a good job with the patch and i bet so does many here.Its a shame too... being able to start from nothing make this mod otherwise easily one of my very favourite of ck2. I also use CK2+ plentyfully as well so another chalcedonian addition by this mod is redundant...

Plus I'll be adding some more content and taking suggestions on what other forms of government and etc. can be added

I am now maintaining this mod, I'll be simplifying the compatibility by removing Chalcedonian Christianity and the fantasy rules that override certain gfx files

Complete CK2 noob (coming from CK3) but playing because I wanted to play this mod. This is my only CK2 mod and I have the subscription to all of the DLCs. The mod is checked in the launcher, but it's not showing up in game. Please what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Extremely late but is there a version of this which is stripped down without all the excess stuff like the sound effects, etc? Just want the mechanics.

Go to Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod and look for risetopower.zip
Open it and go Common/traits. delete rtp_traits_vanilla.txt. Go back to Crusader Kings II\mod and find risetopower.mod and delete the line replace_path="common/traits"

Another change I made was to get default societies back. If you want to do this go into the vanilla ck2 files and find "00_societies.txt" "dynamic_societies.info" "quests.info" "quests_script.info" and "societies.info" (sorry I can't remember where they are found exactly) Copy paste these files into risetopower.zip/common/societies . The only issue I have found is if you are playing as a catholic person there are too many societies and you won't be able to see/select all of them. But the one you can't see is the learning society this mod adds anyway, so not much is lost. If you want you can edit rtp_learning_societies.txt and delete the catholic one in there just so it looks nicer in game.

awesome mod but I am just left baffled why you decided to alter all traits and ambitions. the fix posted below works to get traits back to normal.

when i use this mod a lot of the traits get removed in custom creation and the ones that remain are all 0 cost, i am using this with no other mod and all dlcs except sunet cos i think its dumb
