Technically you aren't even allowed to convert models and textures from other games without the publishers prior consent, but when they are not monetised in any way by those publishing them major publishers such as EA doesnt care, this changes when said person attempts to earn any form of income over something they dont own the rights to, nor got the permission to republish, there might be very real legal ramifications if someone gets caught doing so.
One person got caught here porting models from TpF to CS, they got into trouble for doing so, its a risky thing to do, monetising assets you ripped off from someone else is not only a bad look, its risky as well......
