I wasn't using this for literal years, and I just tried using it again. No issue whatsoever. Just remember to have the prerequisite addon. You might have to restart the game for manifest reload.

Check if you have a campaign that has a particle manifest.

It's still not working for me, but the only conflict with the sound file. Might be one of my other mods, so I'll be checking that first. Just a heads up that it still doesn't work, effect-wise.

I unsubscribed to everything particle and bile related then subscribed to this and particles manifest; seems to work for me.

Oh my fuck, i accidentally uploaded my personal use vpk that contains both the model replacement and the particle effect instead of only the particle effect. I'll fix this immediately. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

i recommend opening the ingame addon menu then the console to see which files are conflicting. If both model and particle are enabled, the only thing conflicting should be the sound.

Yes, I've restarted multiple times and have had the manifest downloaded. Strangely enough, if I have the mod itself enabled, the sounds and the Pokeball model show up, but not the effect itself. If I have the other mod enabled on it's own, it works as it should: Pokeball model, it's own sounds, and no effect change.

Do you have Urik's particle manifest downloaded? Also might be a good idea to restart the game after downloading the addons

you can look at your console prompt after going into the addon menu to see which file in which addons are conflicting.

I really like how you creative you were with this! I had the Pokeball mod for a long while but felt like something had been missing. I'm so glad I came across this mod all these years later. Now it's perfect!
