The falling over thing also randomly causes players to GET UP, and get killed when they have no gun in their inventory anymore.

Any chance you could work in a CBA options menu that would let us adjust the rifle drop chance and perhaps other parameters?

I'll be keeping my eye on the mod because I really like the concept of it, but it needs to be tested much more extensively and refined, especially if the author claims for it to work with ACE. I only tested this in vanilla, but if its this buggy without modifications, there is no chance it will work fine with a major game changing mod like ACE.
From playing with it a bit more, I feel the damage reduction in the arms and legs are fine but maybe they are a bit to un-killable in those limbs. I also personally like the weapon drop feature but with how long after dropping their weapons the AI survive, it starts to feel awkward shooting at them, so much so I just ignored them and continued walking.
How can I see this mod be improved? I believe if the damage tables to the head and torso were adjusted so the AI aren't godlike that would be a great start. As you stated the AI prefer a sidearm over picking up a rifle, I would think is probably a way to program their behavior so they prioritize looting a rifle vs using a pistol. Just food for thought.
To conclude, I have faith in this mod and I would absolutely love to see it polished but in its current state, I'm not sold.
I don't like to complain, but I got a bit of a bone to pick with this mod and it's only because I want to see it improved.
First off, great concept, but when I was just playing around with the mod while testing, I dumped 2 mags of 7.62x51 into an AI’s head while he was wearing a standard combat helmet but he just shrugged it off and killed me in one hit. I also find the AI will survive 2+ mags to the chest as well, and it doesn't help when you hit them they will start doing infinite squats. HOWEVER, I did find that if you shoot an enemy in stealth they will die in the torso or head on the first shot.
If you are so much as touched by an explosion, your rifle will go flying out of your hands. I haven't witnessed surrendering yet.
I like the damage model itself, but the mod needs serious work. It doesn't seem to work terribly well with AAPM and ACE3 compatibility seems to be a little... spotty.
I don't know who the hell has been giving THIS four stars...
