This is going to be quite the big update, with custom sounds, completely reworked textures, and a new crafting system to make weapons modular, a bunch of new ones too, and more !
If you want a preview of what the new textures will look like, you can check out the workshop page of my Vietnam War weapons pack for CE that I updated a few mounths ago, there is bunch of weapons in common (including a M1 Garand).
I hope you will think that it was worth the wait !
I'm doing as much work as I can to update stuff to the announced 1.3, a lot of work is needed because I'm not just updating, it's a complete overhaul, hope you will find the wait worth it !
All I can say is I still work daily on my mods and A LOT of things are coming, all the textures have been reworked, custom sounds for every weapons, new turrets, manned an automated, and a brand new mechanic that I "created" (quotes because it's basically codes from other stuff in rimworld that I used here) that will allow weapons to be modular (changing magazine size, caliber, etc) in an historical manner. But it took way more time than I initially thought but my Vietnam War Weapons Pack is almost done and will be the first updated in the next few weeks, thanks again for your kind comment!
that brings a lot of older firearms.
All the turrets issues, new textures, new sound effects and 1.2 updates will come at the same time. It will take some time as I'm working on a lot of mods at the same time

Also, the weapons are super ultra cool without breaking the game balance.
