Hello, I don't know why but this mod seems to crash my game and stuck it on the loading screen. Might be some incompatibility but I couldn't pinpoint what other mod was involved.

Hello, I just want to thank the modders. I have been looking for this mod for long time. I have not yet played with this, but I am sure it will be fun. Please, do not stop making mods. Everybody else is just making random stuff, but never stopped to think this flaw in the game. The raids are so boring and unfair. They just pop out of nowhere. There is no drama at all. Just damage. I have yet to test this, but I think this will be awesome.

Also Spotted doesn't allow you to attack the raid/caravan, before they reach you.

Spotted gives you advance warning for the upcoming generated raid.
This mod actually spawns a raid as a caravan and lets the player try and notice it early.

Just wondering, how is this mod different than spotted? It seems identical to me, but I'm probably missing something.

What is this description lmfao xD tribal warriors would be really good at sneaking up on colonies unsuspected anyway lol that's crazy hahahah. AWESOME would be vanilla warning system when raid about to come so you can prepare thats why they do the raids that hang around before attacking TOO! You can always preemptive those hahah :D

G-Fiti You should be able to move the question mark button by clicking and dragging on the edge of it. If it's behind something else and you can't click it, you might have to hide whatever is in front first.

? You have to buy a telescope from a trader then when it's deployed somewhere your colonists will take it to upgrade the tower (if you pick to upgrade it). They won't take the telescope out of supply though, only if it's deployed.

Steam even flagged my empty http parenthesis as a "potentially malicious" link. Perfect demo of their problem. :)

@KRASH I don't see how the Github source could contain malware, it's literally just the source files, in plain text, and the compiled dll. There are no executables of any kind.
Steam did complain about the first Github link I posted, but if you read the screen from Steam you can see why: Steam's comment system put http://() around the https link itself creating some weird broken link. The link in my Steam workshop posting didn't get butchered by the system.

If it helps you feel safer, I encourage you to manually navigate to the site on Github (avoid Steam's links), read through the source files, and compile it yourself. You can see exactly how the mod works and what it does.

Props to Dr.Carl for making the code open source to begin with. That made it possible for me to spin off my update to the mod and it makes it possible for anyone to review our code.

I have added a fix for the broken quest-spawned manhunter animals.
I'll take a look over the weekend about uploading the fork to Steam as a new listing.

@drsavage1001 there's a fork a few pages back, but quests appear to be broken in it.

Anyone put out a continued unofficial update?

@XPMT That's the same thing that happened to me when I was running Enemy Self Preservation but I don't know why since it didn't throw any errors. Try disabling any other raid-affecting mods temporarily and then dev mode in a raid to see if it works then. It's probably a similar conflict.

It's also happened in the past with another quest (Manhunting polar bears). Where they never showed up.

I've pushed an updated adding a fix for the Royalty tribute collector. They were getting converted to a standard trade caravan before. Now it bypasses the detection and arrives immediately, but works.

@northeaster345 I haven't noticed any problems with the manhunter packs but I'll look for it
@Ny_Hate_You I've never tried that start but it might be fixed with the above tribute collector fix, unless there's some other aspect of it that's broke
