Thanks for this mod. Made the game more enjoyable :-)
Got regularly an elf child after getting an elf and 1 or more humans with the beautiful trait.
After recently adding the mod "Green Stones and Training", I never got en elf child anymore. Used to have like 10 elves in the expedition in late game.
I now more or less only get human children found in the cabbage field. Birth rate from "Stork" is now much lower. Only got a few "made by" units in my expedition. Have gotten human and halfbreed human/goblin and human/orch this way, but never gotten an elf or a halfbreed elf. (All criterias met to get one.)
Have you tried this mod yourself? (Green Stones and Training)

@Ketrai yeah, this mod was initially designed with only the vanilla races in mind. I haven't played in a while so by all means, you or anyone interested can take this mod and modify/update it for newer content.

Checking the modded event, it doesn't seem like blue orcs can be spawned with this mod at all. If you ever feel like doing a small update, it'd be much appreciated!

I wonder if this mod also works for orc pirates? I believe those were added with wrath of the sea? I'm pretty late to the thea party, I just don't really like the soft cap haha.

@joedu15 sure, you just need to modify the xml file the mod adds. from there you can up the chance of children spawning per turn, and the cap for how many children you can have at once. Be warned that anything higher than like 1-2% will flood you with children tho lol.

@Raven2015 I would think so. It just replaces a couple of events, so it should be safe to disable at any time.

can this mode be used in on/off manner? Like once I don't want more children I can just disable it, and re-enable it if I want to grow again in the same save?

@Powercore2000 I apologize for the long answer, I played a few more games, the event does not appear (450-600 moves), if your elf is weak or exiled and also has to be “attractive” and “beautiful”. If all this is then the event is triggered. That's why I asked about the condition for the event)

Greetings, I would like to know, for several games I don’t have an event on the elves (800 moves) for this event is there conditions?

ohhhh thats why it kept happening, i have no Humans in my party (i keep selling them off)

@Azi_Dahaka12th That's built into the vanilla game. Non-Humans will find human children in the cabbage event to restore your human supply, the only way I can fix that is to disable the event, which I might considering more than one person has mentioned this as an issue.

Also this mod increases the events for all races to have kids, and mix race breedings as well. Its just that the non-human cabbage event has a high chance of happening the less humans you have.

maybe this isnt your mod at all, but dosent hurt to ask, but i have an all evlen party, meaning no humans at all ONLY elves, yet they keep finding human children...like the event even shows the character cards for two elves, and baamb human child

@Urek Yup that's the event behaving as intended, you might just have it fire more often because of the mod, but it was always in the game. It fired more as an emergency event if your child pool was 0, but i removed that restriction. If its inversly impacting unique race spawns tho, I might put it back in.

@Urek That might be a bit irregular, I'll take it look, but it might just be interesting luck. I'll push a hotfix if I discover a bug.

However it happened very often, like 8 times through the 200 turns.

@Urek, the multiplayer thing I can understand why that happens, the child check is global across all players, so the cap is shared among them. For the orcs, human child bug, did they have a human from the cabbage patch event, or a stork event. If it was a cabbage event, then that's in the vanilla game, if it was storks, then their might be a problem.

Also on MP only one of the players get all the kids

With this mod today I got human child from 2 orc parents.

@powercore2000 Nothing at the equivalent place in the dev xml, that said they are doing some weird thing by using the name with and without the error depending of the event so...
My crash log pointed me to that place so it's probably the cause of my crashes.

@Salier You're right, there is a misspelling there, although I think that was done by the devs in the child module by default. I'm not to sure if its what was causing your crashes, but I'll give it a quick fix.

Thanks a lot for this mod, accelerate a lot the development. That said, I run across a little spelling mistake that explain a few of my recents crashes in the rare case of having a female orc.
In the "StorkOrcMix2Diff5" event, at the line 2412 the name of the list is wrong or at least on my side.
Didn't think of anywhere else to post this so sorry if this is not the right place.

@Aliwuful huh, that actually shouldn't have happened then. I put a cap in place to prevent more than one non human child at a time, but i guess cross breeding events got around it, I'll be sure to fix that.

@Ailwuful Its most likely the the mod, because the chance of any 2 characters having a child event is now a flat 1 percent, so it happens about 3 times every 100 turns in total. Its just lucky that it happened to be the same 2 characters for all 3 times.

My last run my beautiful hunter and my recently acquired elf mingled together like 3 times in less than 100 turns. Is this because of your mod? I can't tell if it's your mod or it could've happened in the base game.

@Lorska I could have, but that would require me delving into the PopulationChance script itself, which is a fair bit more difficult that modifying the events. Besides, I actually like the idea of there not being a cap on your growth.

Couldn't you just have changed the PopulationChance function? That way you don't have to touch these events at all.
