It is correct in that room.
There are three buttons in a narrow area surrounded by wire mesh.

To get to higher ground, you need to press a button to go up in the room you went west, then north, then west from the starting point.

One thing I didn't enjoy on this campaign was how the pistol was hidden away in a corner. My first two playthroughs was me trying to play the game without a pistol, because it was tucked away in the corner obscured by the pipes and the shadows. Putting really important items you need to get through the game should never be hidden like that.

Wait never mind I managed to find a way to do it using the remote and some precise timing and jumping down in the room when you get the screwdriver from. I would suggest that perhaps you make a guide on how to do do this map.

PS: This is a really great map actually. It took me about 2 hours or so to complete. Very well done but does need a bit of work in regards to getting to the exit after getting the purple key. Otherwise great job

I made my way through pretty much the entire map but after I got the purple key I am completely stuck and cannot find may way to the exit. Is there something I am missing? Because I have checked ever possible room and pressed every possible button.
