and last but not least,the ideas i have for sprites would be:


ice: its ok as it is rn,all we would need is a version where the reach is short

fire:it could be a sprite where the penguin squishes the classic hot sauce from club penguin,there being a short range one and a long range one where flames would come out of it (just like in the game)

water:that's the only one that i don't have an idea for,maybe the penguin could throw a water balloon,there being a small version and a HUGE water balloon for the stacked version



and lastly,there could be an interface to tell you which card you're gonna get and it's current power

i have a suggestion for a possible down special rework

there could be all the three elements,water,ice and fire

then there could be a system where the card/down special damage could stack after hitting your opponent,at first doing low damage and not going very far until you reach the 11th stack,wich would have a bigger hitbox and better damage,MAYBE it could even apply a status effect

fire would apply burn (obviously)

snow would apply slow

water would make the enemy heavier

He should look small only on playtest, once you start the match he should look normal.

Thanks for responding to my comment, srPerez! It means quite a bit!

Also, after looking it up, yeah I see what you mean by keeping it look bland... but I still feel as if it would be better to change it into the more modern version of the cart, or at least give it the shading it had in some of the minigame's artwork. The overly simple style the cart has currently, although accurate, doesn't hold well up in sprite form.
