"Reposting the only useful comment here on how to get this mod to work made by TAI in case someone needs the help and doesn't want to comb through all the comment pages:"
"Ok so I managed to get this to work by finding where the file was actually being saved. Steam being Steam, saved it in my many workshop folders. So it was in Steamapp>Workshop>Content and either if you've re-subbed it'll be in the latest folders. Or search "Vanity" or "VanityReboot". Copy that pak file and put it in your Documents>Larian Studios> Divinity Original Sins 2 Definitive Edition> Mods
There it'll work from there."
Contamination set can't be finished, some Morphofused items from set will lose it's connection to the set.
Morphostolen Devourer set will be set instead of your items basically deleting them.
Such a shame, because it's the best looking set in the game in my opinion.
Outside of these two sets mod worked flawlessly in my past 100 hours.
What I was most excited for was seeing it's compatibility with: "Rendal's NPC Armor And Weapons" and it's "Dye Vanilla Armors Addon" which patches in the dye feature of the mod for the vanilla armors.
This mod coupled with the Rendal mod and it's patch make a great combination.
Your uniques will be turned "Nameless Item" at the moment.

Try starting a new game co-op and see if it works.
Thanks for the response! Unfortunately I've pored through my Steam directorie and can't seem to find the packfile anywhere, weirdly. Is it posted on some external site like Nexus or something so I could just grab it from there?
Also, I'd like to add to the description that should the mod be removed after changing the equipment and saving, it will remained looking that way for the entire game.
Not sure if it will revert back to the original way it looks in the affected save after turning the mod back on,.
fix: just move the files manually into the Documents/Larian studies/mods folder with all the other .PAK files. Some mods when subscribed go into the Steam folder
