Thanks a lot this mod is amazing!

Reforged equipement are items that get further enchantments added to them based on their quality... Uniques and rares get more random affixes but sometimes it doesn't work depending on the item. Green and White can only get sockets... but it fails most of the time.

what is reforged equipment?

It's probably just a coincidence, I got basic idea from Grim Dawn, and the issues with the TL2 console version missing transmutation.

I ask because this is what they're adding in the next update to the TL:F alpha.

Did you get the idea from the upcoming Torchlight Frontiers update or did they get the idea from you?

Oh ok, it works now, my mods bugged a little and I had to change the order a bit. I wonder which one CTS didn't like.

You upgrade metal by transmuting metal with ember of the same quality. for example normal metal with normal embers to obtain rare metal.
Just experiment with the number of metal and ember you put into the transmutter.

How do I upgrade metals?

I love this mod.

This mod merges the NPCs into the Towns and doesn't change the original town files, it can't remove anything from them.

Does this remove the NPC that sells the portal scroll to MapWorks in the Estherian Enclave? I manually merged a bunch of mods together and the NPC is gone, and I'm not sure which one overwrote him.

That type of crash usually is releated to character saves being totally imcompatible with the mods loaded... I tried both mods and could get into game fine. Try moving your character saves to a backup folder and see if it keep crashing, then just go adding your character saves until you find the one that crashes the game.

I tried it with just Synergies. It loaded the Torchlight Screen and then crashed down to the desktop

How did the crash happen? Any other mods apart from Synergies? I test a quick run with only this mod and synergies and it worked... But I didn't test all the recipes since this and synergies add a ton of them.

This crashes under SynergiesMOD no matter if on top or just below it. Any way to make the two mods playable together?

Thanks for answering my question. I wouldn't have thought to use 2 pieces of equipment to get the metal

To get metal you need to transmute 2 pieces of equipement with 1 dynamite. And to get Magic Essence 3 scrolls with dynamite. This are the start of the transmutation tree for this mod.
Then you can use the metal with any type of schematic from the blacksmith to transmute the equipment piece you want.

You can check the Recipe List if you want, the most basic recipes are there and the ones hidden in game are inside spoiler tags.

Can you give me an example of how to make a sword? Is metal found now when you are adventuring? I didn't see it sold anywhere in town

@Moranacus004 You should find Albrecht and Crafty on every vanilla town. Are you using any other mods? I would recommend putting this near the top of your order and see if that fix the issue. Also what Transmutation Recipes mod do you refer to?

I tried to use this mod but I didn't see Albrecht or Crafty. Do I need the transmutation recipes MOD for this to work? If so, can you combine the two as one MOD since there is a 10 MOD limit.
