simply put ash on the ground and they will disappear shortly after.
Or use a mod like "ash fertilizier"

Yes there were, 2mb I think, which is why I usually convert my preview images to jpg when uploading them to Steam. But it seems they've removed or increased that limit :)

@Ultroman: weren't there restrictions/size requirements for thumbnails? I thought so, and I never wanted to create and correctly size images for minor mods. But seems there are no requirements, so I simply copy pasted the image from the original mod now.
And yes, at least after the mod update from March this mod should work fine, although I did not rewrote all functions.

This is much better than all the other trash can mods. Simple, no BS and made by an absolute legend. Please put an image on it, since it looks very unprofessional. I almost didn't click it, until I saw it was you (serp) who made it XD

I never liked the ignition of the trashcan anyway. I replaced it with a "turn on" action now, so you do not need a torch anymore.

Well now i understood - before placing trash can on the ground you must disable in ur session ur geometric placement mod (in my situation is B button) ))))

I just saw the geometric placement mod also includes "hide hursor item" setting. Maybe this is the one causing the trash can to be invisible while trying to place it? But even if it is invisible, you still should be able to place it and then it will become visible (if the setting is working as intended)

I also use geometric placement mod. I just resetted every mod setting to default and tested and it still works fine with geometric placement and trash can mod.

There is a modsetting for geometric placement to have it disabled unless holding Ctrl. So you may try this setting if geometric placement causes issues.

So:
I can not reproduce the problem. Even if I could, I don't think there is anything I can do, it would be a problem on geometric placements side I think. At least I can not imagine anything on the trash can side.

doesnt work :D generated new world with only trash can mod and when i try to place it on ground it even doesnt shows its texture (invisible )

@Danzo: The mod has no such string. And therefore the inspecting string is the default one from the game in Don't Starve Together\data\databundles\scripts\speech_wilson.lua DESCRIBE_GENERIC = "It's a... thing."
So whatever mod translates you the game into russian, should also translate this I guess.

@Dazon: yes I can do that. Send me the translation and I will see if I can solve the bug. Is it easy to reproduce? So simply on a normal game without caves set the trashcan on fire with a torch directly? Or must it catch fire from sth else?

Serp, By the way, I noticed a bug that was still in the original version. When you set fire to an empty trash can, it bugs until you re-enter the world. Can you fix this? And by the way, it would be nice to add a translation into different languages. I would definitely help you with the translation into Russian.

Now the mod should has the manifest file.
I unsubscribed and again subscribed to the mod, to make sure I have the same version. And it works on my side.

Serp, I think this will help. Your mod simply does not have a manifest file, perhaps this is the case.
