It happens when you first purchase the weapon, but after you select the weapon on and off a few times, it usually fixes itself.

Actually, now it's working fine? Maybe it's an animation conflict with something? Maybe it just didn't load properly when I selected it from my inventory? Idk, but whatever the case, problem solved on my end? I guess? (Sorry for making this a separate comment, I couldn't figure out how to edit my previous one.

Just a heads up, hat kid doesn't hold the Vaporizer (with Shock & Laser & Auto-lube-bearing mods) properly. She just... kinda... sticks the magazine in her face? It's not a big deal, but the laser sight is useless when she's aiming it up 60 degrees into the air.

Having that online does sound like fun. I'd probably only have it do 1 point of damage though lol.

I have Autodesk Maya 2016 or 2017 somewhere on either my old desktop or on a USB stick that I carried it on. While I only used AutoCAD, Revit, and Fusion 360. I downloaded mostly all of the other programs they had on the website to my desktop, when I was a student. With Maya I remember that I did download it, I just need to try to find it and learn how to use it properly for what I am making.

Maya or 3DS max works as far as i know but can be quite expensive from experiece 3DS is free with a school account (You can make one for free) and use that, may take some playing with to get right as keying can be weird, i was having this issue aswell with something on one of my mods

Ah... I tried baking the animation many times and in different ways. But still get nothing but a stiff gun model in the mod tools. I will try that second method when I get the chance, hopefully it won't be a pain and a chore to do. Thank you Crash

Blender sucks for exporting anims, make sure that the anim is baked or just make the anim in blender export it as an obj and import it to maya and just reexport it there

Since Blender is giving me a hard time exporting animations into AHiT's modding tools, just thinking about it for the past couple of days gives me a headache (spoiler; I am a complete noob with animation work for AHiT.) I'm going to just sit on my next gun mod for now, since other then animations and balancing, it is complete.

In the meantime, I will take a look into getting at least one of my gun mods able to kill online players. Either make an online only version or put the function into the gun mods I currently have.

If you're playing Co-Op, any of the upgraded versions will instakill your teammate if the shot lands. Now you can have a 1v1 or something.

I know JABrules has done something Kinda similar with his nyakuza deathwish pack and the "Trust noone" DW where when you touch other players you get hurt maybe look at that?

@JGamezOfElzam – I would love to do it, but as of now I would be more confused than anything trying to figure out how to properly implement and balance a PvP like function to this gun and my other gun mods. I am in the camp that would love to see a proper PvP system for AHiT, rather it be deathmatch or something a bit more creative. But as of now… I do not have the knowledge for something like online functionality and making a full on PvP mode. Maybe later when I learn more about the tools it could happen, but not any time soon from me.

@ScumBine – The simple answer is that I did not get around to it yet. But, since learning how to rip PS2 models is fairly straight forward once you get the hang of it. I assume it would not take long for me to learn how to apply that to Unreal biased games. As for the gun itself… As an attempt to try to rip more modern ‘cartoony like’ weapons, I wanted to try to rip a Borderlands 2 weapon… In this case either the Maggie, Greed, or Law (for a melee / gun combo.) I tried looking around first; all I found was untextured revolver models from the game.

@godzilla540 : That would be really awesome if you find a way to do that. There may be other Hat In Time modders around here who might be up for it. One PvP mod I know of is Nyakuza Royal Rumble, but that one only consist of knocking other players off platforms, but I think it does still have a community that's interested in PvP in Hat In Time. There's also a mod called Online Party Plus and another mod called Player Hookpoints that allows players to effect each other upon impact, info relating to mods like that might be what you'll need to make it possible.

Always had this in my quick select wheel in Going Commando, no matter how weak it became later on. Thank you for bringing another one of my personal favorites along. Quick question: have you been able to figure how to rip unreal 3 engine models yet? And if so, can you hint on what game you were planning on getting the revolver from?

If I do figure it out, might as well turn AHiT into Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal's multiplayer at that point. To the few people who have played that multiplayer from the time where we had Ethernet cables hooked up our PS2's, think of the Siege game mode with 25V25 players... With these gun mods... With also vehicle mods... And top it off with whatever mods people throw in... Jeez, I can already picture the insanity with something like that.

That would be amazing, since PvP for AHiT is pretty meh. Sadly, as of now, I don't know much on how to do online party related things. But, that is noted if I dive into online party functionality.

You know what'd be absolutely amazing is if players who have the mod installed had the option to turn on friendly fire through the mods menu, but the friendly fire would only effect those who also have it turned on. Players who have it on could have a small crosshair icon over their head. That would add a ton of PVP potential for those who want to do it for fun, especially with these weapon mods.
