Figured out what the Geysers are doing. Plants wont run out of nitrogen

It probably broke with the new atmos update so I doubt it :/

Just checked and it seems you're right. Well that sucks since there is nothing I can do about it, since all this mod does is let them spawn. I guess wait and see if it gets fixed.

Oh and just as an FYI no I was not using any other mods at the time with it as I wanted to make sure it worked first.

hey author. So I can get nodes to spawn however they don't produce any hydrogen.

This mod still work? I started on Europe with this mod but never found one.

just deactivate the mod. the geysers spawned will stay, but any new won't be generated. geysers will never despawn naturally.

found out the cause and have fixed it, is there a way to stop geysers from despawn and respawning once found?

it should, its just a custom world you can reroll to see if they spawn at spawn, which you should since the geysers are inactive outside of render distance

that so? i can seem to only get them by changing the mineral type, they dont spawn on a normal new game, if i want them to work i have to make a custom world for it to work sacrificing carry capacity for infinate hydrogen?

No but its easier to see the changes in real time with the preview option if you get lucky and they spawn in the preview

idk haven't used it. just deactivate all mods but this one and keep regenerating a new custom world and see if eventually you see a geyser. if that doesn't work then change the xml value for the mod to be really high for spawn rate to see if it is even spawning

i dont have anything that touches the ores tho... current mods and scripts: [ES] Free Nuclear Battery. AIMEeAutoMining. (IC Code) Perfect Solar Tracking 2.0 With Reset. Automated Hydroponics. [ES] Robot Plate Carrier. CraftableRTG. Terraforming. The last one needs BepInEx to run would BepInEx even touch the ore gen?

Yes it changes the xml of ore spawns. you can make your own version by just copy and pasting the hydrogen ore section into whatever mod you use for ores.

i keep finding the holes but no vents, have shuffled the mod around with no luck, dose the mod conflict with mods like terraforming?

I tried it a while back and it somehow still works. you might need to fiddle with the load order to get it to work. it also has a rare chance to spawn so reroll the seed if you don't see any at spawn.

Is there a way to make the geysers more rare?
They just seem way to common for me.

Strange. I went ahead and tested it, and the geysers that spawned stayed spawned after I unloaded the mod. It might be a ore preset or something that modifies ores on your end. Other than that I don't know.

Thanks bioshaq i did end up finding the rarity for them you mentioned, tho i guess will need some testing to find out a good balance, i dont want to have my map size really big just to find 1 but dont want to have them everywhere i look.... but as for unloading the mod..... i thought i tried that and it unloaded the geysers that were already spawned

Yea, go in the mods dir under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\544550\1877779919\GameData and in the mineables.xml change the Rarity and maxVeinAttempts. You might also have to do this with the terrainminablespresets.xml but I can't remember. If you don't want them to spawn any more then just unload the mod, and any new chunks should not load geysers.

If this is copy of default worldsettings with addition of mining override for Moon and Mars, theres may be two Mars and two Moons with same names in Create world menu.
