Sadly EA26 seems to have broken this map - Eagle size can’t use the ladders at their spawn so they end up kinda stuck there.

I've been super busy of late (December is always a mental time of year) but once through this crazy period and when priorities are out the way, I intend to finish a few Works In Progress and release those, and then polish up a few blips and bops in all my maps (Except for Citadel sadly, that once is staying dead - sorry folks who still play that in it's current state.)

Yeah, I know... I think it's because the flag isn't touching the ground, so the tank gets confused. I've had real ums and uhs about moving it, but i just really like it there. I reckon now somebody has pointed it out I'll move i and keep the funky version as a sort of "Legacy Piece" for my own entertainment/ sentiment.

Hm... Great map, but there is one little point...

On "memorial" spawn point, there is some strange problem with tank. Like, sometimes bots are not getting into it at all, sometimes they are getting in, sitting for some time, without moving, then leaving it. So if it is not controlled by player, it is not controlled at all, which is unbalanced. Maybe some fix?


Also, it is "reverse mode" so ravens are spawning at memorial. Maybe because of that??

Hahaha! :D nice - "ripe for the picking" I guess is the best way to look at it - I have better maps than this one if you check out the description - Iquar and Paradyse2.0 are ones I'm really happy with.

good map, all I ask is can you make the water area a killbox (the AI gets knocked off by explosives with no way to get back up)

I understood your intentions and I completely agree with you about the spotlights - the sprite used for the lens flare needs to be more subtle.

Glad you like them! :D Are you talking about Rook's Peak? I understand If people have trouble running that one as it's got loads going on - definitely better for a newer pc.

the light is fine though, im not asking you to remove it. its fine the way it is. i just hate the light in ravenfield because no matter how far you are, the size of the flash remain the same which blinds you a lot.

ive already tried all you maps and theyre all great. the problem was only the big map that took a lot of time to load, mainly maps that has a lot of asset. but that is unavoidable, especially when you have a crappy PC or laptop.

Fair - I try not to use them too much, and was fairly restrained in how I used them here :D You should check out some other maps I've made :D

Mmmm... yeah, I've been aware of this for a while - It doesn't affect gameplay too much, but It is on my list of things to update :) How do you find everything otherwise?

cool, but the problem was not us. it was the npc since they cannot do the "kys" move. so they'll get stuck forever until someone kill them since you cant shoot when you swim.

Yep - the killzones in the current version of the map editor don't seem to work. Just respawn - the Helicopters should take care of the stray AI down there. I know it's not Ideal, but hopefuly that should do for now - I'll update it when I have a new PC

oh, i dont think you need to *change* paradyse just because the buildings are unused, if that's how the map should be then fine, it got itself on the front page after all.
My philosophy when making maps just stems from my weak macbook being bad with high object counts, so i usually say "if im gonna make it, it better be a fully interactive and worth it". Which is why i like this bridge so much more. That, and it feels more focused overall.

In regards to the Paradyse assets, I'm assuming the big un-explorable buildings are what you are talking about? I've been looking into those for a little bit now - the problem to tackle is how to make each floor feel fresh, and not just a spiral up that you feel like you've seen 100,000,000 times XD It's a time consuming process, but not off the cards. This will impact performance though, and I feel I have paradyse where I want it in that regard. So not a definite, but we will see about it - the buildings are mostly there to make the helicopter gameplay more fun :D

Spawn placement was a trickier beast, and may get updated later on :D for now enjoy - I got one more map in the works that I want to push out, and then the three of them should see some tweaks. :D Early days though...

This is a really cool linear push map, much better use of "custom" assets that Paradyse, since you're actually fighting on them here. A little bit of questionable spawn placement, but really good layout besides that. The light objects lag out my weaker computer, but that's kinda the game's fault.
Noticed that blue's tank cant leave spawn by itself, while red's can. Are you using path boxes that aren't completely linked? If not, then the only other problem i can think of would be the high-up flags, but they dont seem to cause problems for infantry, sooo...
