my version of your kachina

somehow I am getting boned on this ship,? 13 rcs? 48% cpu? 1g planet and it can barely get off the ground. I think steam is crossing the builds up or not updating it.
had to say something others may be getting the non updated versions. I spawned it in and litterally had to gut it of everything just to be able to use it.

Please forgive if this has already been answered. I love this style of ship and are using it in Reforged Eden but I cannot repair it with the bay. It tells me the ship type cannot be repaired and I cannot find anything about it. The shields are off, it's squared on the bay, containers are empty.

@jrandall How and why did the Kriel line of ships get started? (they look fantastic by the way!)

Time to do another jrandall game of vessels ;-) I`m already subscribed to this one so it`s been a while I think. This one is A12 ready? Will it do well in Reforged? I`m not a heavy player JR. I`m more explore, scav, loot, "modifying a little", and steal (from z/lgcy) lol. All SP of course, would never, ever steal a players loots hehe.

Absolutely beautiful handling, practical for mining, dealing with drones and dropships, exploration and whatever else you need in early game.
I recommend using a repair console and block to reconstruct the ship when it gets damaged and loses blocks since it looks cool but is difficult to rebuild by hand.
I ran around the outside upgrading the steel blocks to hardened steel and it holds up decently.
Perfect beginner SV for your first foray into space.

T3 version upgraded to T4 ready for shield additions.

Die Kachina ist mein erstes Alienschiff, welches ich mir erhandelt habe.
Und nicht das letzte dieser Serie. Ich habe mich in die Kriel-Serie verliebt ...

JRandall, ich weiß nicht wie du das machst, aber du bist ein Künstler!

Ich habe die Kriel-Kachina auch umgebaut. Erst auf CPU-T3.
Jetzt habe ich die ganze Kriel-Kachina vollständig verbessert.
Außenhaut aus gehärteten Stahl, Warp-Antrieb, Schildgenerator,
RCS, Minigun gegen Plasmakanonen getauscht, Raketenwerfer gegen
lenkende Raketen. Und CPU auf T4. Bei mir heißt sie Kachina T2.
Einziger Nachteil meines Umbaus: Der Warp-Antrieb ist an der Seite
angebaut, einen Block tief eingelassen. Aber keine Strahlung und Hitze
wenn man im Pilotensitz sitzt.

Auch die Kriel-Apopis nenne ich stolz mein Eigen ...
Auch die Apopis habe ich selbst auf T4 CPU umgebaut.

Thank you Strix_Omani and ZombieSlayer. @ZombieSlayer, the ones updated currently are: Perses Carrier CV2, Wayfarer ST, Asteria Destroyer, Transit-CH5, Merc-MX1, Kriel Overseer WC, MCRN-Tachi, and Carapace C3. All MCRN is CPU compliant at the time. I am currently working on the Nemesis Battle Cruiser for an update to a11. Some updates can go quick, others take a lot more depending on what needs to be done and how old they are. I did a recent update to the MX15 as well, but that was just prior to a11 so not CPU. I hope that helps. Thanks again all!

Thank you magnaoverlord, CHUNGUS STREETLAMP, GamingForLife4k, and Strix_Omani. @magnaoverlord, texturing is slow and takes awhile. I do a certain process for the kriel normally adding textures and painting later. It took a while to do the first Kriel creation, but after that I more or less follow the same process for them. It takes time thou. As in overseers, I thought they looked cool and the Kriel tend to like insects and feed them but attack just about everything else without thought. (Lore) The overseer is a closer descendant of the race Kriel is supposed to be. @CHUNGUS STREETLAMP and Strix_Omani, I haven't looked at this ship yet for a11 updates. (I got about 70 other creations that still need updates as well) I am currently working on the Nemesis Battle cruiser for a11 update. I did update 8 other creations to a11 already thou. Thanks again all!

Has this been updated for the CPU upgrades?

i spawned this in on a official server and the CPU update makes this unusable

Using this to travel between pve and pvp zones while parking my cv in pve. It can travel up to 15au, but you need to add the warp drive. I added it to the top exposed, but it's okay because shields protect it :)

It has a really nice power capacity, and the ability to release your drone from the top is an added bonus since there is radiation and temperature added. :)

How do you do the texture and lighting for the builds? (And why are there so many overseers in the background?)

Thank you Mortimer012! I got plans for a lot more Kriel stuff. Much of it would be starter stuff. I do also have plans for a Kriel space station, a larger one and a starter one. It is just going to take a lot of time to make it all. The human faction I do had a lot more time to get in the options and variety for the faction. The Kriel need a ton of stuff yet to be able to handle early game to late game play. I started with mostly late game stuff so far but after the next couple Kriel releases (which are also late game) I plan on shifting to cheaper and lower level stuff more. This ship as well as the Pocong made by Typhoon are the two lowest level and cheapest things for the faction so far. And thank you again!

For some future releases I plan on expanding on that a bit. I am trying to set up a story of the human faction getting into a war with the Kriel. So future releases will try to include screen shots of the build up and ultimately going to full war. Not sure how it will all come out yet. lol. Thanks again all!
