After flipping through some of the Mortal Empires factions ive found that the tomb kings (or at least 2 of them) dont even have access to the buildings. I dont know if youre interested in touching this mod again, but if you could double check and possibly fix this so the mod feels complete

I know that 3 has serious bugs with DLC units, supposedly those will get fixed soon so ALL units are available (this mod doesn't allow DLC units)

And this mod actually has pretty much the same requirements as 3, defensive alliance for some units, military alliance for all, doesn't it?

Honestly, warhammer 3's outpost system is basically just a less clunky version of this mod, with army caps instead of unit caps. What would there be to port?

I'm using the SFO version but just wanted to double check I'm not having a conflict issue that you might know more of (the SFO one doesn't have any comments since 2021), but is this mod supposed to work with the Southern Realms? Not as in providing units from TEB, but if I build embassies I don't get any units from them? Or might faiths of the empire or some other mod be causing a conflict?

Holy fuck... I never expected them to improve diplomacy and alliances so much as they did. Although, Cryswar, if you're up to it I'd definitely love an expansion of the benefits of outposts, including some more powerful units available. Unless I already have access to Norscan Mammoths and I'm just in the early game. Lolol

Just found a bug: The chariot riders on the Razorgor Chariots aren't loading properly in combat and are doing that t-pose stance in their chariots (the razorgors themselves are animated though), and I discovered this bug doing a chaos campaign, though I'm pretty sure it's a problem that extends to other factions as well and probably to other chariot units too, but I don't have any other chariot auxiliaries to test out yet

I love the mod, brings great variety and finally a use to MAs.
One minor thing that somewhat bothers me is the ability to field T-4/-5 units when the faction I have an alliance with owns like 3 settlements and is nowhere close of getting there itself. What could work would be dynamic caps like 1/0.25/0.125 per settlement. But I guess that'd be a lot more work than hard caps, right?

Glad to hear you've been enjoying it Gallows :)

Depending on what you want to do, it can be very easy or very difficult to mod.

Changing caps is trivial, open up the packfile, open effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions_tables, and change the caps for the desired set(s) of units. Normally it's 4/2/1, you can easily change it to say 8/4/2 and that'll do it.

Adding new units... if you want the caps, it's pretty difficult honestly. You'd have to replicate the steps of most of the units here. If you just want to add an uncapped unit (say, War Lions) I think you would just need to fill out culture_to_battle_animation_tables_tables, building_units_allowed_tables, units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables, and unit_set_to_unit_junctions_tables. Still a bit of work, but not as much.

Big fan of this mod! Really spices up the options a bit and makes working on getting factions amenable to alliance more fun. Feels like factions are more likely to ally once chaos comes, and it plays into the vibe of the end game to have key units from your "allies" with you. Too bad chaos is a pushover.

I was wondering if it would be simple for me to get in and tweak a few things (caps and which units are available)?

I'm another of those mixed reports on the Diplomatic Options mod- my efforts to establish Wulfrik's Danelaw on Ulthuan have not allowed me to recruit an elven units from my knifepoint friends.

hmmm yeah It is vanilla (High Elves Eltharion). The only other mods I have on in relation to factions is Legion of Myrmidia (and Mixus legenadry lords unlocker)

Hey, great mod. Estalia seems to be broken. Minor settlement has the new building as the main settlement building which causing many issues. Other minor settlement cant be colonized.

It was mousing over third tier embassies in the building browser. The campaign was a Thorek one.

Looks like this wasnt enabled for Galleons Graveyard. Has been working fine otherwise for me though!

Also, mousing over embassies isnt causing crashes for me- however, maybe it behaves differently in the building browser compared to when actually built? Seems unlikely, but just wanted to suggest that difference.
