@Megumin: Fixed. Also did a mini rewrite so you can now configure when the selected object is deselected. And adjusted the options menu to hopefully be a little more clear. Let me know if there are any issues.

Can we get an option to prioritize closing the selected item panel too ? (the right panel)

In vanilla, selected item panel is closed before overlay. With this mod this behaviour is reversed
I prefer vanilla for this situation

此修改会更改右键单击取消选择行为,以便单独单击即可:取消选择光标项目,关闭建筑菜单,然后关闭覆盖。可以将这些配置为按所需顺序进行。

@Lord_K: Output log needs to be uploaded directly after the crash. That one contains no error, and this mod isn’t even enabled so I can’t confirm you have the modt recent version.

@LORD_K: Yes, if that mod crashes on copy build (looks like it does from your comment there), then it's the issue. It will look like it's coming from this mod since I have to tweak some of the stuff, but it's ultimately its fault.

There is a bug in ONI, which causes the game to lost order of mouse actions (mouse up makes to start pipe drawing, mouse down to stop and clear)
if this bug happened and this mod is active - pressing esc will cause the crash.
But I seen the crash without this bug too

I'm getting what looks like the same crash as Bubbeenator. Happens when I press escape while the dig tool and an overlay are active.

I did not do anything specific. I was in the process of digging out an area and after deselecting something, the game stuttered for a moment and then crashed.
The previous crash also happened while digging out a tide pool biome on oasis map. It was not the exact same area, but was the same type of terrain.
Considering how long I was able to play before the crash, I thought it might be a memory leak.

@Bubbeenator: The log file is located at "%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Klei\Oxygen Not Included\output_log.txt". You need to get it directly after a crash since it's recreated every time the game is restarted.

When the mod is enabled, can you get the crash consistently? I'm not able to reproduce it, so I'm wondering if it's some mod incompatibility. If you can't get it to crash consistently and it's a random issue, then I'll have to do a lot more troubleshooting.

I uninstalled the mod and restarted the game. It plays fine without the mod.
I looked in all of the directories where Klei keeps files (appdata\local, Documents\Klei, steamapps,..,etc) but there are no Dump files or Log files associated with the crash. The only Log file is one from the most recent restart that does not show any hint of issues. Does Klei keep crash files some place on a Windows PC that isn't obvious? As for the settings, I left them at the default.

Updated Mod with Mod Manager and restarted game twice. Played for about 30 minutes and after deselecting a Dupe, the game crashed.

@_alphaBeta_ I just tested and options seem to be working. Make sure you're restarting the game after changing options (it should prompt you to do so). With both options unchecked it should behave like the vanilla game (closes everything together).

Regarding your specific request, it's not currently possible to configure it like that. I will try to figure out if I can support that (and make it easy enough to configure).

Despite setting the option, it still requires right clicks to exit the both the build menu and overlay. The options don't seem to have any effect in-game as the only loaded mod. If I'm understanding the options correctly, I should be able to keep the build menu alive with the first right click, but then I want the build menu and the overlay to close together after the second right-click. I don't seem to be able to do this. Build AP-399948.
