Could also be pretty cool to see Age of Empires 1 units in game as mercenaries, using only the primary faction color to stay in the spirit of AOE.
They all had a rather distinctive look about them.
I've got a half baked Egyptian mod, and I was eventually hoping to do a total conversion that dragged the entire roster back into the early RTS days where every faction was a glorious over the top caricature of the defining traits from each culture (see age of empires etc)
Hopefully I can take some time off when things quiet down at work to get something like that up and running it would be a great holiday project
I'd love to see all Carthaginians in white again, with dark blue capes.. their old Rome 1 color scheme. The red and green just does not seem to suit them.
Please let me know if there are any other problems now!
Can you fix that or is it a uniqe problem of mine?
Really sorry i've been absent been INSANELY busy, as Gaunt1981 has said you can enabled this by activating "enable outdated mods"
The current issue with me working on it is there is now a slew of new DLC out, and i don't have the time to jump in and purchase then test each and every DLC to identify why these color issues are occurring.
This mod literally only changes the unit tables for units located in the Macedon faction so new DLCs affecting it is pretty bewildering to me.
For now please use Gaunt1981's hotfix and I hope i can find the chance to develop both this and a new mod im working on sometime in the coming weeks!
this mod works. you must activate "enable outdated mods"
