This mod works perfectly fine with any mod configuration, however I'd like to report a potential balancing issue.

For some reason, it's possible to recruit the Evocati Cohort as a General's bodyguard unit, even though you shouldn't be able to obtain these units until much later on in the game.

This leads to a scenario where if you're still using pre-marian units, Senate Secessionist factions will spawn with 5 units of Praetorians even though you can't recruit them yourself, and you don't have anything that powerful to counter them.

I've been using this along with the 'with seasonal effects version', and have now had the thought.
Are you meant to use them both together at once?
I've always done them both on, to my mind, to get seasonal effects and build and research times.
But suddenly I've got the feeling, is this doubling the effects?
Like, am i getting 2 turns per year, with 4 turns per year times for building, research and aging?

Hello. Thank you for this mod (the best format in my opinion). I join Itharus' analysis about game flow. In 4tpy, I conquested all the map in 50 years with basic armies. This one works perfectly except for the seasons' cycle as mentioned. Thanks again

Dresden, I've noticed that this mod causes the game only to cycle between Summer and Winter -- no spring or autumn. Is that of your design or something the game does automatically? I ask because due to the various bonuses and penalties of the seasons, this makes an impact on the gameplay. Given that the base 1tpy game still cycles through all four seasons, I assume it's something you changed on purpose?

You know it's funny... 4tpy works best with the movement speed of armies and fleets. But I think 2 tpy actually flows better with the family tree and what not. And the building and research going up most definitely helps. Good mods :)

It's looking like this mod is conflicting with Patch 16/ FreeLC. Massilia isn't showing up on the GC. At least for me anyway. Just a head's up :).

Depending on which mod loads first will determine which settings get used. Using them together won't break anything.

I know in the "popular discussions" section, the pinned topic states that this mod is not compatible with Radious Mod but i've tried it a bit and compared it to Radious and vanilla and so far everything seems fine. The research times for this mod and Radious' are pretty much the same anyway. Can Dresden (or anyone) let me know if there is a conflict with the two mods? I'm about to start a new campaign and see how it goes and want to know what to expect or look out for. Cheers.

Can you make this mod not inflict with the HATG and CIG campaigns? It changes research time there, too and it takes freaking long (like 44turns for the last ones :O
always to put the mod off nd back on if i switch campaigns is a little annoying.

Just click "enable out of date mods." Since patch 12 is a beta, it checks the individual player's download date so many mods will show as outdated.

I like it. But could you consider to release a mod that only doubles the research time, without the build time or the turns per year? That would be great to have it more flexible that way.
