yep, he (Shad) never uses legit source. I've told him once to put bibliography but he is not able to do this.

You should take everything Shadiversity says with a grain of salt. He's often awfully misinformed about Middle Ages and what he says nothing more than his personal speculation, even though he treats it as fact. As for the castle, it reminds me of Irish tower-houses. I think the fasade is pretty much perfect, but you wasted a lot of interior space with corridors, when a real tower would just have one room on each floor -- a lord's chamber on the first and a storeroom under it. I also think dividing walls should be all made of wood because stone needs to be supported from below.

Read this blog post for a lot of information about internal spaces in small castles: http://www.thestandingstone.ie/2015/08/guest-post-chamber-towers-not-hall.html

I can even see the little side-shed he advocated for in the video, heh.

Shadiversity. haha. I was thinking the same thing from when he described the origins of a castle/keep.

thanks you! Simplicity was what I was aiming for. That, and having a 'realistic' feel to it. I'll admit this keep has inspiration from Shadiversity and his video about what rooms are included in medieval castles.

Very nice.
Despite its outward simplicity, it has a nice feel to it.
