@The Kraken You can find all information in my guide "Re-building real cities - the comprehensive guide" on Steam. Basically I use an old SketchUp for modeling and Blender just for conversion/checking. It works but I do not claim this is the optimum workflow. SU is very intuitive to work with, but Cities Skylines has some special requirements it doesn't handle well.

@Lascivia A certain amount of crazyness is definitely needed to put almost one week of time into such model ... for free. But I believe your avatar image is more crazy than me. ;-)
