I could only see that happening if their code is stopping my script from running or Hellebron's faction name has been changed.
I don't have the game installed anymore so unlikely I'll help with this.
You can try subscribing to https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1271877744 and see if you can spot any errors in the logs. My mod logs some stuff prefixed with TTD, so you can maybe see if some part of it is running at least when starting a new campaign as Hellebron.
I don't want to maintain 2 versions of this so what I did was add compatibility with MCT and there's an option there to allow that.
Check the description and make sure to enable that option cause it's off by default.
If you have a campaign in progress you need to enable it at the main menu so it's the default for all campaigns and inside the campaign as well since each save has its own settings.
This doesn't change anything about the number of armies.
It just prevents the level to fall bellow 2, so it doesn't trigger negative effects.
It's a script mod so it's very unlikely to be incompatible with any mods.
Did you wait a couple of turns after activating the mod for it to take effect?
