It is not a must. But if you want a perfect quality sounds without any problems you'd need to follow the guide. Otherwise it is possible to hear sometimes slight pops or something like that.

@Khalilian basically the mod author needs to have the new sounds have the same length with the original one.
Let's say the original smoker death sound is 1 second, the new sound also has to be exactly one second.
I did the same thing with my Leon voice pack as well which took me several months to finish on a broken schedule

Oh, okay! I'm using all the Dying Light sounds right now, besides the Tank. I was wondering why no one ever does the non manual install, but you saying it was tough makes me understand LOL. These are amazing!

It is quite tough work. There is a lot of sound matching between the old sounds and the new ones.

The hunter could be those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that come in the dark in the story mode that are scared of LED lights.

On custom servers you can use addons (as long as that server allows it)

Technically yes but if u want all infected from dying light imported into the game the volatile suits a lot more the hunter so for Smoker you wont have anything else but the night hunter. So i'd agree with the model author about this choice...

The night hunter should be the hunter, just saying, I know it got tentacles n ♥♥♥♥, but omg this is way better as a hunter mod
