Loading Altis with this mod was surreal as it didn't feel as I was getting flashbanged once it loaded in

the main thing I like about Livonia is the fact that because of the moon, the nights are bright enough to be able to see without NVG's or a flashlight. Does this mod do the same?

It kinda hurts to look at, just because I'm so used to the original lighting of the maps. Everything has this orange tinge to it, looks like the end of the world. Creepy good, I think this would make a good addition to a zombies and demons op or an exile server

Sorry for data_f_light, I did make an assumption, it appeared to be an Arma name, I did not take the time to look.

@VileAce - I should change the cfgPatches name, yes, but the PBO name shouldn't have any effect since it is not in the a3 folder when packed. Furthermore, there is no such 'data_f_light' pbo in the vanilla game ANYWHERE.

How difficult could this be done for mod maps like Chernarus 2035.

This mod, when fixed should not affect frame rate. The only reason it may affect framerate now is a conficl with the pbo name and main class name. This is just a modified config file no graphics, no extra particles. To be 100% honest the author appears to have taken the data_f_light.pbo from Livonia and packaged it as a mod, with no changes.

A couple notes, this is a config change and only a config change so it is 100% client-side. A note to the author, I very much recommend that you change the name of the pbo. Using the name data_f_light.pbo could cause conflict with the default pbo. The config shows Tanoa is required for the mod to work, this can probably be removed as well. You will also want to change the main class from A3_Data_F_Light to a unique class name of your own. You are asking for issues. Does the "night lighting" of this mod use the "Contact DLC Campign lighting" (which at nights is a lot brighter), or the "vanilla ArmA 3 Livonia lighting"?

Fantastic. The original game is way too bright and dried out. Darkness hides its flaws.

@ShermanatorYT likely client, since this SEEMS to mostly only chance the lighting. (But I can see possible problems if only part of server population uses this mod, while the rest doesn't. Basically the ones that use or not may possibly get either better or worse visibility under certain circunstances)
