NIce idea but it doesn't work for me. My pawns have brought stuff from my base to put in the cart. It would be nice to set some kind of search area for the pawns to use when loading. I also can't get my pawns to launch the cart. I can right click and an option comes up to have them launch but clicking on it doesn't do anything.

Was asked to update this mod but since you updated the PowerTab mod after I made a 1.1-version of it I thought it might be better if I just post a working copy here and you can use it to update this version.

when is the update coming. We need mods like this that make it easy to traverse your own map. Can you make the mod so that if a colonist has to go across the map he or she can automatically launch themslelves using the cart. I really dont like micromanaging everything.

As some others have mentioned, once installed, the rails cannot be removed. Not even with the destroy function in Dev Tools.

Could u make auto cargo upload rail spot on minecarts like the opposite of rail dump? and make connection system between minecarts as a train?

I really like the concept behind this but having to select what to put in the carts and then having to tell them to launch it kind of removes some of the usefulness. It would be better in my opinion if you had some sort of automation for the carts, for example you could select what resources go in the cart and then it would remember that and act as a storage device, pawns drop the resource into the cart automatically and when it "fills up" the pawn could "launch" the cart automatically, which would then follow the tracks to the end where it would be set to unload, again automatically. Just my two cents, I still like the idea.

This mod works fine. If your boosters aren't boosting, it's because they aren't powered.

My main issue with this is that you can't automatically load stuff onto the minecart, you have to keep bringing up the load menu to decide what goes into the cart, which limits their usefullness (at least, if you have Pick Up And Haul like I do)

Could do a High tech magcart in the future that is super fast but require power and a type of powered mag-rails? this mood looks great.

Put it above all other mods, seemed to fix it. Go figure! Seen something similar happen to other mods with items in the Misc tab

I love the concept of this mod but the lack of functioning boosters sorta makes it unusable, also needs a job to reset the minecarts to a certain point

I can't seem to deconstruct the rails once placed and can't run power through it in any way? Is this by design or a bug of some kind?

So based off what the Rail boost description says, It should increase acceleration of the minecarts as they continue to go, but after the initial push they come to a near screeching halt once they hit the rail booster. Afterwards, it sluggishly moves to the next location, regardless if another booster is there or not. Am I doing something wrong?

This is gonna be fixed in the next update; Minecarts will now always need to face into valid tracks.

@SpaceGhost I had the same issue, felt pretty dumb when I figured it out. Uninstall your minecart and rotate it in line with your track. I had no idea they had a "Front" :P

A problem I have discovered with this mod is when you have multiple minecarts on one track. When you set them off for the first time (none of them touching each other) they work fine. When you try sending them off again they break and do move (this only occurs when one or more are touching each other). Its a real pain having to uninstall them and reinstall them on the line with the carts being one tile apart.

Is there any way to make minecart rails buildable on water? Currently they can't be placed on bridges because it just says "space already occupied" and if you try to construct the rail over water without a bridge colonists will construct a bridge, deconstruct it, and then the blueprint for the rail disappears.

I don't think I understand here. I built a rail, built a cart on top of a rail tile, then I used the context menu to "launch" the cart. Nothing happened. Am I missing something?
