sorry I know this is probably now no longer worked on but, I have a suggestion, maybe a Variant of the BM-59 with the "grenade spigot" barrel and a Version with the Folding stock? (sorry)

basically the US military wanted a new rifle that could be manufactured using the same machinery used to manufacture the M1 Garand thats how the M14 came into being...

Guns aren't life forms and they don't really adapt, plus saying adaptionsbrings the connotation of things like movies being adapted for different cultures. These are derivatives of Garand, not adaptations

Can't get the ACOG itself from the DMR, as I can't get the model. But I could make Vietnam era ARs with GLs if I decide to. Same with the ACOG patriot GL, but same problem with the not having the Signal DMR's ACOG. I'd have to make the ACOG myself

do you think you can make a version of the Patriot and PatriotGL that looks like the Vietnam era M16E1 /A1
because the ones i find in the workshop are to detailed and look severely out of place...

or maybe a patriot with GL with the ACOG from the Signal DMR and a suppressor called the tactical patriot?

also i just realized if the m1a2 is a bm59 then shouldn't it have a folding bipod

I went with the BM59 because it's a pretty unheard of weapon, and it's pretty distinct from the M14, from the front furniture/handguard to the mag. I was planning on making the T20E2, or whatever that .30-06 full auto/select fire mag-fed Garand was. I know there was several

also honestly i would've considered making the full auto m14 an m14e2 instead, mostly because it looks a lot more distinct

dalittle, if anything the magazine should extend down to about the bottom of the stock and should have about the same length along the barrel as the bolt (maybe a little shorter) [armyhistory.org]
