No, I think you're misunderstanding, that's what the old age portrait has been changed too, so at 50 you are still middle aged looking but once you hit 60 you're now looking more elderly.

I do believe it is but there is a slight problem if you do load a saved game because it will make anyone who is 14 or 15 adults and thus end their education and in my experience it makes them have no education topic if you know what I mean, so I wouldn't suggest it, it would be best to start a new sorry :(
If examined default CK2 settings, midle age (w/o early) Europe and noble (more or less) family (many things in game need house in this Procrustean bed), game settings and mod settings about correct both.
De-jure (early) marriage realise via betrothals (merge in one real and game betrothals), de-facto via marry.
Same about age. It more hard determined, many even noble people die not naturaly, from sicnesses or in wars (adulthood even more hard, it determine via physiology, not amount years as now), but both, vanila and mod settings also about correct. Game just define all die naturaly IRL as 'average long-livers' and interpolate other people by this point with define middle age as about life half-point (modern age settings).
I see, that is quite a problem that does bug me but am not quite sure if I can solve, I know it is possible of course. I'll look into fixing it, I assume it's somewhere deep in the events folders somewhere.

There is an event that can fire when a ward is 14-ish to allow the educator to make a self-sacrifice for their ward. I can't remember if this was conclave only, but basically, it gives them options based on their stats (if 2 are above 10/12, they get the event to make the ward a rival to give them ambitious, stressed to make the diligent, and an out of patience modifier for 5 years giving them -2 to all stats if they give them patient)
Technically it isn't, it does not force you to marry below 16, only if you make it 'pedophilic', it is, so choice is actually up to you to decide that.

Also, to reiterate, irl a person is beyond age of consent and /or majority.
Why? Is the girl of your dreams already married or bethrothed once she becomes adult? Sure it sucks to be unable to seduce your wife, but there are oher ways. You can use family focus if you plan on staying monogame, invite a young woman with good genes if you want to take the prestige hit for marrying a courtier (your lover) or just dip the lovers bonus and keep relations to your wife positive.

I believe you are right, but, this mod still makes it more realistic, in even LETTING you marry at that age was realistic, which you cannot even do in the game.
That being said, because peoples general life span was much shorter at this time due to poor hygiene, constant wars, rampant sicknesses, etc. etc. etc. you were expected to start working around the house, or learning the family trade very early on in life, and for that reason you were considered an "adult". Or at least a young adult capable of doing work, and pulling their own weight which you were 100% expected to do.
That again is also something not shown properly in CK2.
