Well I hope it works out for you Hermit. Mine are pretty low res(low block count) so not a ton of tiny details.

Usually I build up a rough shape, then create a kind of shell over it, and then come back to detail inside to make sure the ship flies or performs well. Best advice I can say is yeah look at other ships and experiment.

Thank you^^ Yeah, foxes are my fav animal so I use that colourscheme on everything XD And yes I made the icon myself - I wanted an emblem as an identifier for all the ships I fly, and building that was simpler than building a full vessel.

I have built a few ships myself that worked well enough, but they didn't look nearly as detailed and awesome as yours! I really struggle to get the shapes to fit smoothly and all the angles to intersect how I want them too. That's why I've started downloading popular Workshop ships like yours - in the hopes of examining their designs and learning to improve my own building skills.

Thanks 12e, I left them titanium so people can convert them to whatever material they need later, and left frameworks so people could upgrade them how they like.

Wish there was like a later down the line build to some of your smaller ships making them more capable

Thanks Zlobsic! Yeah I've treated block count as a resource to try and not abuse too much. Like shaving off weight in a build in SE or something. See what you can get away with.

What i like about your builds - they are not overcomplicated. They fit the game perfectly, unlike lots of other builds here, which are cool, but the game engine cant hold those well.

Thanks Kahoot, yeah a lot of my WFL stuff is like somewhat modular, and relatively easy buy in cost for ships. A lot of them are titanium so it's easy to convert material later.

Amazing budget frigate for early game and it seems easily upgradeable in making it bigger and adding extra parts
