great mod but please change to bronze shields with the A or L if your know you know. but that was a historical thing that really only Sparta did

The mod still works on the 1.3.3 of DEI, but it doesn't work on the spartan thorax Phalanx, which is an upgrade of the spartan pikemen. Not sure if that's intentional or if this needs an update.

@Qo . Yes the crest on the helmets, could some of the standard spartans have them, just to add a bit more variety

For some reason the uniforms don't load fully. Ex: The armor isn't there and just the arms and head or vice versa. Need some help to fix this because i genuinely like this mod.

Thank you for this, I hope you do more.. my primary complaint with DEI is that all the units are such a mess of bland color that they are indistinguishable from one another in melee...

This is exactly how I imagine the Greek units this mod is amazing, I hope that you try to make reskiny other Greek states or add new units to the game after all in the game is not a lot of units mainly infantry with swords but others are quite shaved PLEASE CONTINUE

Hi, guys. I checked the new assets from DEI and it isn't much different from my reskin, which still maintains DEI inspired spartan looks.
So this is pretty much the final version.

PS: Ofc if i find improvements to make, I will do it. But my skills are still limited aka noob :D

If this mod isn't working, drag all the way to the top (first loading) and try running the game.
A few ppl say you need the Greek Culture DLC to play as Greek States, so keep that in mind aswell.

you HAVE to buy a Greek culture DLC to unlock Sparta, Athens and Epirus
that's why when Rome 2 launch with day 1 DLC (which is Greek culture) CA have alot of backlash from their decision

I suspect the Greek States Culture Pack is required to play as Sparta, even in DeI. If somebody managed to play as Sparta without, please let me know

I downloaded this mod and DEI as usual (I have played many times with DeI before), but Sparta doesn't show up anywhere in the grand campaign faction selection screen. I only have Massilia in the Greek Colonies section and only Rhodos in the Greek Cities section.
