I'm not exactly sure how to get the models out of a gmod addon though, do you have the blender file for it or how does that work?

Yeah, well to port a working anim here, you have to have blender 2.49b installed with python 2.6, then run a script, import the model skeleton, import an animation, save the blend file, open it in Blender (latest version), export all as smd, rename all groups and materials, write the qc then compile the model. You wanna do all that? That's fine by me.
